Hating a group of people is not an opinion.

What's wrong with people. Probably didn't expect it to be streamed.
It's been too long since Stephano mentioned he abused a 14yo.

Yeah, that one was an obvious joke and people still took it the wrong way, but this seems much more damnable.

Guru is a type of guy that would say the same even if he knew it was streamed. He just doesn't give a fuck

I've never heard of TeS gaming or Guru.
Where are they in the European SC2 scene? A clan? A team with some small sponsorship? Or are they a proper team with salaries?
I assume Guru is a GM level EU player that doesn't think things through before saying them.

Guru's been an up-and-coming middle tier (as far as pro players are concerned) EU Zerg for over a year now., significant presence in Go4SC2 cups and whatnot.

They are sponsored by Samsung.

I assume Guru is a GM level EU player that doesn't think things through before saying them. True eSport (fka Team Extreme Supremacy) is a decently big team. They are one of the main sponsors of the SC2Improve/WardiTV Team League. Their most famous is player is Blizzcon semifinalist Elazer. Ryung was on TeS for a couple of months too.
Guru is mostly an online hero, but he made top 16 at WCS Spring (beat Snute).

This on the other hand is rediculous, I can't believe he got kicked from his team for this.

That's telling about their level of seriousness and commitment if they have Elazer.

That really makes Gurus decision doubly dumb. As a member of the team he represents them in exchange for assistance. This is not how any serious team would want to be represented.

I'm gonna trust the people involved over random people on the internet choosing not to believe them for arbitrary reasons.
I'm also gonna trust that there may have been significant negative consequences, if not necessarily legal ones, if it was in fact true.
The fact that people still bring it up with any degree of seriousness is baffling.

lol. Yes what he said was retarded. However... we sure have lots of double standards. If he said I hate christians, or I hate men, or I hate white people many would have just thought "well said" instead, and he would have never been kicked from his team. Sc2 has been home for political correctness since the beginning. Personally I've seen players do far worse things in public without consequence. I see why the team wants to kick him and I would have done the same, but the whole situation with Starcraft community feels a lot like kindergarten.

That's stupid. I agree with him that there is a double standard of conduct but in this case it's pretty clear cut. He represented his team poorly and his team chose to remove their association with him.
It's not a win for anyone and disappointing for everyone.
