Would really appreciate any kind soul willing to point me in the right direction you usually do nothing important in the first few days, you can be tired as fuck and be alright well....unfortunately the class starts at the exact same time as the broadcast(10:00 am for me) so... laptop

I think Neeb has a good shot against either Protoss but TY will likely wreck him.

I switched it off and went to bed after TY v Zest. Now I find Trap/Patience was actually a cracker of a set >< Anyway, TY looks so good at the moment. Can't see anyone stopping him but lets go Neeb!

That's misleading. Current Kespa cup is still a weekend tournament, while Jinro reached ro4 of early GSLs. However, I believe Neeb's run is already better than Sen's win in Taiwan open and Lilbow's WCS runs (by quality of competition) and then Snute's IEM Shenzhen run (by reaching ro4). So it is the best foreigner result of at least 2 years. I'm to lazy to check before that but it is significant by itself.

Also, as already stated in another thread, in that run, Jinro beat MC, who was a heavy favourite, with mech.
Also, as a caveat, Jinro played Terran at that time, and they were by definitely the best race at that time.
Here, Neeb isn't beating Terran, who have had trouble against P. (Though he did face Pet and Rogue...)

go Neeb! show us that PvP prowess once again vs Stats!

And that PvP basetrade was crazy!
Worth noting is that Kespa Cup started of at a Ro16, while GSL (Jinro's Run(s)) started of at Ro32. Thus Jinro's Ro4 is more impressive since it is one step deeper.

No? Did you see Nerchio and MarineLord advance? 1 out of 3 isn't everyone.

Would really appreciate any kind soul willing to point me in the right direction Just go to Youtube to https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-uRIJPCxHjffqlil5hkuZkeIHSqCkcq8It's the channel of eSportsTV. The titles of the videos are like "[KeSPA Cup] Maru vs Patience RO.16 Group D match1 set1" So you only see how many matches have been played but not who won, so it's relatively spoiler free.
Yeah! that's what I was looking for: spoiler-free but in order, thank you They do spoil how many games were played in a series, but nothing's perfect, eh

stats will be a really hard test for neeb he is in form and perhaps the best pvp player in korea

It's been a great and enteraining tournament so far - that Patience-Trap game was hilarious. Can't believe it's still possile to see new endings like that!
|
Dang Neeb!! I remember when he was a Terran player in WoL. He's come such a long ways since then!
