Hey everyone! I've started a video interview series that I'd love to share with the TL community. I'm hoping to be posting one interview per week for as long as I can. These video interviews are going to be reminiscent of JP's series 'Real Talk'.
There are so many people who work to bring us SC2 esports and they each have a unique perspective on the scene and its future. Hopefully people will be interested in the stories and the opinions that will be presented!
This will be the official TL home of my video interviews. I appreciate any and all constructive criticism, anything that you think I could be doing better is relevant!

Yeah I've been using this tag for about a year and a half now and I'm hoping that Chinese Cyan won't become the world champion at any point haha I'd have to consider a name change and that'd be pretty bad!

For example, Yin Yong-xin (Chinese Silky) said, "Silky is his first and main ID a few years ago though at the that time, he didn't know American Silky at all." It is interesting that Chinese Silky‘s second ID is Rikka and American Silky's another ID is Kirito. Rikka and Kirito are both from Japanese animes.
Other Chinese players whose main IDs doesn't equal to present IDs: XiGua - 万能虚空王 (King of LotV) Ein - YyKk Has - 艾米莉娅 (Emiria, from Japanese animes - Reero -Starting Life in Another World-) and so on

Question for Artosis: SC2 has now been out more than 6 years. Personally, subjectively, during what time period were you most excted about the game. During what time period were you least excited about the game. and why is that the case.

Please ask Wolf what's up with him being featured in the Korean Maxim and how has he become so popular with the Koreans? I always see tons of likes and retweets on his Korean tweets.
Is he slowly transtitioning beyond just esports and trying to become a celebrity in Korea? Could he imagine being on Korean Television for something non esports related?

You’ve had a lot of involvment with different types of esports scenes. What are some lessons you feel like different scenes could learn from each other?
Definitely got thrown off by the name haha. At this point buddy you might as well lean into it and interview Cyan (China) who'll be competing in GSL vs The World soon so it's a good time to interview him.

I don't really do video interviews outside on english. I'd need to have someone translating and the questions answers would need to be much shorter as a result. But hey, maybe a text interview someday!
