I am in charge of the invites and I can tell you guys that I did everything in our power to get the best lineup possible. Dennis himself has very good contacts and so do I even to Korean teams but it makes me deeply sad to read some of the comments here. As for the people who know me are aware I love Korean Starcraft and I always try to get the best lineup for a HSC - skill and entertainment wise. So I will simply go through the people that mindlessly bash the lineup and naming players who should be there without even thinking about the chance that we did invite them. PartinG - Accepted and later cancelled due to army issues. Replacement btw was Scarlett Neeb - Declined due to not being able to miss more days at school TY - KT Rolster would have gladly send him but due to commitments in SPL - they cannot. Zest - KT Rolster would have gladly send him but due to commitments in SPL - they cannot. Maru - JinAirGW would have gladly send him but due to commitments in SPL - they cannot. Cure - JinAirGW would have gladly send him but due to commitments in SPL - they cannot. Patience - Was invited and wasn't allowed by Afreeca Freecs MC - Was invited and accepted; went to join CJ Entus and due to SPL commitments had to cancel. MajOr - Was invited and happy about it; qualified for Dreamhack and decided its too much to travel (which is understandable) Bly - Invited & accepted; Passport issues did arise so he is out; the replacement not yet named. TOP - Invited but declined since he cannot afford it so... as you can see - blaming and shaming isn't really to put on us. We declined the WCS system to be able to invite more than 8 players and have Koreans; in the end SPL screwed us. I am not blaming Proleague or the Koreans that have to commit to it - I am simply sad that people think they have a right to bash anyone who has tried everything to create an interesting lineup. And frankly speaking we still have every big European name; we still have fantastic players. Edit: Also Polt - declined; due to another appointment | ||
