If there was an all-stars KR tournament with this talent panel it would be the most viewed thing in all of SC2.
Should be good :D

Especially for EU, there have been crazy and innovative and fun games. I would rather see a playing field that's even and has a sprinkle of the general gamers instead of Korean rolf-stomping their way through until its Life (rip?) or sOs or Zest or Solar winning the whole thing. I'm not saying I don't like Koreans, they're fun to watch and are the main source of entertainment. But, Europeans and some North Americans and Has bring plenty of life and enjoyment to the game. Why can't you and others who think "SC is a dying game" be happy that we have these tournaments? Because "Top 10 in their respective nations" is about Rank 200 in real life. We want to see the best players play regardless of nationality, not a watered down product because foreign players need their free Blizzard money. I take it you don't watch the Aussie cricket team then ![]() Lol, Khawaja v Marsh?

Just because they're not 1-32 in "real life", they can't provide content and fun? But, everyone has their own preferences and want to see only certain things instead of being open to new things. Guess it's like any other competitive sport. I'll take my WCS World Championship with what I have because I'm content that I get to see such an event happen and for foreigners get "free Blizzard money".

Just want to mention your hypocrisy> Neither Polt nor Hydra are in the top10 in their respective nation. Otherwise I don't want to start another WCS rage thread, but let's just say that your view is, ehm, different. That's like saying that if I enjoy Champions League I am supposed to watch Czech 3rd division(which is an atrocity to watch unless you are from the village which is playing). I don't have the time to waste on a useless tournament I won't enjoy. I have a job, I don't have too much free time, I have another hobbies, I don't waste my time on T3 tournaments. Please note that have there been some Koreans I would have been there on site watching it live. Because Poland is closer than Korea ![]() (and yes, I probably used wrong tense there, I know that I don't know how to use English conditionals and I don;'t care)

Anyone is entitled to its opinion about the WCS changes and we can probably still have a not too bad entertainement even with this lineup but it is a travesty to deny that it is watered down. For the simple reason that the reigning champion cannot even defend his title because the rules now prevent him to take part to the competition at all. And I could actually say the same for almost (thx Hydra) the whole top 16 actually.

NO sport just rules some people out of the competition, just for the reason of them being too good. You just cannot hype this being a worldwide competition, if it's in fact just not. It's like a second class tourney, and I'm not saying this because of the players are worth less, but they are MADE less of a value by the new system. It's not a big of an achievement anymore as it has been in the old system, when you could do it far in tourneys like this as a foreigner and try to claim being a world-class player. And it won't be in the future, if Koreans will be classed out by default in every single tournament. Say what you want about my opinion, but it's NOT like any other competitive sport. That's exactly the problem I have with the new WCS. Not to speak about the fairness towards pros who were depending their life choices on this and had to leave europe and NA partly because of the stupid decision of Blizzard.
