Things that I'd like to see: - Arium beating a Korean player and walking around waving the US flag as he did in Valencia, that was pretty sick. - Scarlett doing well and looking awesome. - Huk giving great interviews and awkward moments with Smix - Showtime in as many PvPs as possible - Marinelord making at least ro4 - Firecake getting a prettier Euronics outfit. - Bly being bly - And hopefully a foreigner winning the whole thing. | ||

Years of me having to watch amazing matches be Bo3 Now with hardly any Koreans there you have top 32 all Bo5 with Bo7 finals. Srs? If I were a conspiracy theorist I would say you kept it Bo3 back then for more volatility to try to get more Koreans upset. Well yeah, but compared to WCS Premiere 2015 it's still the same Koreans (although Polt isn't playing at DH). For the case Hydra vs foreigners the situation didn't change. | ||

Eh, I guess it'll be interesting to see how Serral does when he won't have to lose 1-2 to a quality Korean in the ro32/ro16 and how much Welmu will benefit also from avoiding them if he's in decent shape. I think one of the reasons there are not many very good foreigners right now and the overall interest in the game declined (for viewers and players) is the fact that foreign scene lacked its own incentives to practice and participate throughout last few years. Hard to tell how big part of it is the other fact that players that were promising just moved on in life | ||

Vortix said he wasn't feeling ready yet for dreamhack hence why he didn't register. Also i'm personally quite exited for this tournament, i mean maybe after some time i will get tired of foreign tournament but as of now i'm very curious about this one. There's a lot of player i'm looking forward to. | ||

We often times have: Elazer, Hydra, Snute, MarinelorD, Bunny, Nerchio, Tefel, FireCake, MaNa, Bly... Ofcourse this tournament is a way bigger stage, yet I could have all those players in nearly every weekly tournament with a bit of pricemoney as long as WCS isn't running. | ||

We'll see if they're right or if the foreign scene dies within 2 years by lack of viewers.... Dreamhack is a good test cause sc2 never been their favorite game and they won't hesitate to abandon it if the audience figures are not satisfying enough. | ||
