Team eLevate is proud to announce our first endeavor into the StarCraft scene with the acquisition of North American Terran player, Maru “MaSa” Kim. MaSa boasts strong achievements throughout his entire StarCraft career, consistently reaching Premier League in last year’s World Championship Series circuit. MaSa also comes in with first place finishes at two LAN ETS’, MLG GameOn Ender’s Game Tournament and more recently a victory at Red Bull Battle Grounds Toronto. With the release of a new expansion and changes to the StarCraft 2 tournament circuit, MaSa will strive to compete among the world’s best at multiple international events throughout the year at events like DreamHack, IEM and eventually BlizzCon. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/o3E01Sz.png) MaSa had nothing but positive things to say about joining Team eLevate. “I am very excited to join Team eLevate and I really want to keep a long relationship with the team and organization. It really interested me as this is a new team for the organization, starting with me and I really want to help Team eLevate become a top StarCraft 2 team.” Jason “InsidiA” Pun, Chief Design Officer and StarCraft 2 Manager for Team eLevate, had a similar sentiment, noting, “I’m really happy to be a part of the StarCraft community again and to lead Team eLevate in it’s inaugural effort in the title. I can’t wait to work with MaSa who we know will cement himself as the North American hope this year!” MaSa will be competing on January 9th in the first online qualifier for DreamHack Leipzig.
