Edit, 17:00pm CEST: Appearantly ByuN also left Prime and joined the Chinese X-team alongside Ein.

This leaves Prime with only 2 players.
BBoongBBoong
YoDa
As a result they are currently not able to participate in next year's Proleague.

So Prime doesn't have enough players?

At least they will always have ByuN, right?

Finally, time to get rid of Prime for good...
What did he win by the way?

Gfinity I think.

Rip Prime, hopefully he finds a new team. If he was luckier and didn't have to play Inno in code A then he'd probably have been in code S this season, he's back pro level now.

Oh I forgot that 1 of those 3 players is Byun... so 2 players actually.

When TB thought about moving to ProLeague ( before the shit came back ), did you really think about a 9-Team ProLeague? Yeah and what team could have been replaced by Axiom? Only Prime.
So RIP Prime.

If neither Prime nor Axiom will be in PL, will it just be a non-kespa team or will we have a team 8 scenario?
|
With LotV right around the corner I think that NaJin should finally make a move.
|
would be awesome if he could find a team that'd help him get some confidence back, could be a decent sub for PL.

I think the most likely thing is that kespa will help someone (TCMs Manager?) to gather togeather non-kespa-Koreans in some form of a 8th Team. Under the pressure of a possible 7 Team proleague maybe maybe we will see some "jailed out" players, who left their org earlier, back again to get enough strong players into the new team.

this is pretty much it for Prime

RIP Prime, one of my favourites since 2010

Keen!!!! Go out there and kick some ass man!

Thanks for the update, added the info to the OP.
If a mod could adjust the title, that would be appreciated!

I hope he finds a team that can foster his undoubted potential. It was even visible while on Prime.

IM comeback for Prolegue 2016?

Thank god, maybe the sinking ship will finally go down and people can stop wasting time and money trying to save it

Is Byun still playing? I think he said on stream that he will retire and that was months ago. Let's hope he streams again his stream was the best, greast music choice and perfect gameplay

Recently this has become the saddest time of the year for me, its always filled with news of retirements, teams disbanding or worst...
|
Maybe kespa will save prime and form a neo team 8.
|
Not really surprising but sad to see Prime finally go down.
|
This is for the best. Maybe a new team can take their place.

Funny how all this is syncing with LOTV release getting closer and closer

Xiaose also mentioned that X-Team is in talks with B4 and MC.

Someone finally bailed out ByuN?

But hasn't it always been like this?
October 2014 - IM's SC2 Roster was dissolved October 2013 - FXOpen drops the sponsorship of the 'fOu' team, fOu subsequently disbands in Dec 13. September 2013 - STX dropped sponsorship of SouL, SouL subsequently disbands in Dec 13. October 2013 - Woongjin went bankrupt? (Can't remember the details) but they released most of their roster at this time Also subsequently disbanded in Dec 13.
So your comment about LotVs release really has nothing to do with ONE team disbanding. If anything, based on the above - 2013 was more disastrous than Prime (finally) winding down.

Meh, teams come and go. Lotv will have a half dozen teams disband within the first 6 months. Prime only made it this far because of Kespa.

Wow. Prime is so dead, ByuN went out of his way to leave a team he doesn't play for to join another team that he won't play for, just to not be on it when it's finally pulled off life support.
|
So is it officially the end of Prime ?

No, hell no. Woongjin and STX were both major corporations that sponsored their teams and most likely provided salary, team house and other benefits. Losing teams like those is orders of magnitude worst then losing any of the stupid NA teams that come and go within a year, or PRIME.
|
yikes. very sad. seems like a lot of changes are happening pre- LoTV
|
So now we know every everyone suddenly started jumping ship from Prime.
|
|
As i know,BBoongbboong leave prime too and yoda is be banner. so,prime dead

Is X-team going to participate in the team leagues?

Byun moves teams, still missing for over a year.

considering their head coach and several players got caught in the scandal? I'd be surprised if they survive this.

well so much for all the good wishes to keen finding a new team and prime living on :/
|
Hopefully another team will step in and pick up Keen. Or maybe KeSPA can form a new Team 8 but who knows if they even have the money.
|
I'm wondering how players actually joined Prime if they didn't get money or had to live in horrible conditions. No contract? leave when you don't get money. Contract? leave and sue because breach of contract if they don't give money. If you don't get money and do nothing about it you're an idiot, loyal to a manipulating douche or VERY fucking gullible. Either the joiner is moronic or was blackmailed. Then again, I'm just speculating.

Creator and Zoun may have been the smartest guys out of this. They got out before the nuke hit

The emotional investment. Stuff has to hurt his soul.

lol, so the only people on the team are Gerrard, (Coach) B4 and YoDa, all of whom are banned from KeSPA for illegal gambling and match fixing.
Sucks for Prime fans. Such a terrible scenario. So much embarassment.

It's amazing that Byun was still on the team for that long.

With all the aligations, I'd leave prime to lol RIP prime
