Yesterday I was like:
3-1 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
3-2 ( ͡⊙ ͜ʖ ͡⊙)
3-3 ( ͡◉ ͜ʖ ͡◉)
3-4 ヾ(@† ▽ †@)ノ ECSTASY

sOs came in his $O$ form Beautiful and really exciting games, obviously I am biased and blindfolded by my love for sOs but damn he is looking in shape :D. I hope next PL games will be at least as exciting as this

I wanted to see life so badly in the last map. Stats is so good but still is some kind of a worse wersion of Zest. After Zest's loose there was a huge chance for Stats to loose as well. Thats true Life is far away from his best performance, but nobody can argue he is a kind of genius, and in a lot of tournaments he won games which he must have won, even with stronger opponents. Lets just recall the last blizzcon and his match against monster Taeja. I still think Life was overall worse then Taeja at that time, but somehow, someway he found holes in Taeja's "Overwhelming playstyle".
I would have definitely trust Life's genius, despite his "average" performence atm. Maybe he would have lost as well, but IMO not trusting Life was a bad decision. Of course Im not KT's coatch, and probably he knows his players better. Just my personal opinion

I watched the games yesterday and was absolutely amazed.
I read this article already 5 times and still love it :-) Primarily the pictures with comments.
I watched again all the VODs (4th to the 7th game) in Korean when they were available yesterday ... and twice the VODs in English today ...

Such a great day of Starcraft 2 yesterday!!!!

I don't know. I see the argument but Life actually has an SPL win rate of less than 50% since joining KT, and Stats was tied with Zest for KT's best SPL player this year in terms of win rate. Life's individual league performances are miles ahead of Stats' but Life has never been a great team league player, not for STIM during the last SPL and not this year either. I don't know how you as KT go out without even sending Stats out at all.

I definitely agree with you! To tell you the truth i dont know why life is so bad ( in terms of his possible power ) in SPL. Because he is not bad in BO1 at all. Half of his premier titles were decided in the final 7th game and he won all of them. ( This means he hasnt lost any final match in the deciding game. Ofc he lost some not-finals in last games, like semis with Soo or Dream ). I make a guess Life is very depending on motivation. He is already the best or seond best player in sc2, while being only 18 years old. This means its only a matter of time he will be consider as the best one. He knows it, and he struggles to motivate himself. Especially in, not as important for him, SPL regular seazon matches.
I like recalling the last blizzcon. I used to hate Life, but he immpresed me during that tournament, so that today I am his fan. I felt in love with his "tryharding potential". He was not playing his best theese days. ( In my opinion AT LEAST Zest, Inno, and taeja were better then him ) However i felt he wanted that tournament so badly, and he was trying, was looking for holes, opportunites, he was tryharding like crazy what let him to win the whole thing.
Ofc I dont know if the motivation is the case. However, if there is only a bit of true, i felt like the danger of his team being knocked out might have motivated him to tryhard. But who knows, maybe im simply writing rubbish.
To comment ur last sentence, I generally agree, but want to mention one thing. My miracle KT line-up for now is Zest,Stats,TY,Flash. If i wanted to put life somewhere i would kick out Flash or TY, and keep Stats. But thats only theoretically the stronest line-up. We got the different situation yesterday after 6th game. Flash, TY, Zest already lost. Stats and Life left. Your tournament life is on the line. Now make a decision

All 3 casters were talking soooo much shit about SoS, it was insane.. "he`s so bad", "his macro is bad, TY has this", "he has no chance against Zest(because of that "insane" 5game win streak)" etc... it was really something special to listen to.. on other occasions csters tell us how many of the 100k tournaments SoS has won and here hes the noob?!?!? suuuuuure ö;Ö
This just proves, again, how incompetent so many casters actually are (esp. the ProLeague ones minus Moonglade); just saying lots of words to keep talking (they spent over 30mins combined trashtalking players (in this case SoS) and NOTHING they said was accurate). The Zest/SoS talk was the best. No chance that SoS beats him.. than he does it two days in a row. Hilarious.
As if the ProLeague format itself wasnt retarded enough, we have to listen to that shit for hours.. someone should put a stop to that.

Relax, the casters were OK. We, sOs's fans, know, what he is capable of. When he has a good day ... or good time period ... The fact is that the last Proleague season, he was playing seriously bad, like without inspiration ... whatever he has won in the previous season, was just thanks to his experience and mistakes, his opponents made. But it was sad watching him. He was playing very passively and tht is not his style.

The first time, when he got the passion back, was MSI MGA ... in that moment, I was predicting, the good times are coming back. And I was pretty happy watching this reverse kill with the casters, where they were only stressing, sOs is not the favorite in the most match-ups. The better was the enjoyment at the end of the matches.

We will see him today and tomorrow at Dreamhack, and if everything goes well, at BlizzCon. And it seems, the real sOs is back.
