Five of the biggest names in CS:GOStarcraft 2 will be live in Stockholm, we're excited to have Nathanias, RotterdaM, ToD, Apollo and iNcontroL to cast all the games! Nathanias who stepped up to be the panel host at DreamHack Valencia will be doing so again, and we're excited to welcome back iNcontroL who will be interviewing all the players throughout the groupstage and the playoffs on-stage! Also of course helping out we'll have Funkah to observe the games and make sure none of the action is missed.

"Five of the biggest names in CS:GO"
I think you mean Starcraft 2
|
Nice that Apollo is commentating and not hosting for once
|
Really nice to see Apollo casting again
|
Anyone else disliking thursday friday?
|
It made me kinda laugh how every sponsor is exactly below the staff. Its like they're the representative of each brand.

SC2 is just so alive that our commentators are the biggest names in other games even.

Thursday and Friday is a holiday for me so this Dreamhack suits me swell!
|
Oh damn, Thursday and Friday. I hope $o$ will not be to tired. But at least he is back on track for Monday.
Missing Brendan V. and Moonglade. When sOs can come over, they could do it too.

No Zerg?
I think they could sacrifice one Protoss for a Zerg Otherwise good casting lineup.

Jeebus, I used to live literally 1.5m from Inferno Södermalm :D I'm gonna be there for Thursday at the very least.

Actually if anyone is doing a good job for SC2 it is Incontrol. During some Canadian championship(WCS World Finals or IEM, not sure now) he had an interview in a Canadian TV(or radio? or both?). He has done several interviews for western media and it was pretty good. And it was TV, the radio thing was done by Huk IIRC
If someone should be the face of SC2 for Western world, I would choose Incontrol :-)

Awesome all-star cast!
Out of curiosity, why is DH on Thursday/ Friday and not during the weekend?

Because CS:GO is far more important for the main stage on the weekend.

No "EXPERT" this time it seems.
EDIT: MY STAR HAS RETURNED! Welcome back friend, you've been missed!

First time that Rotti is at a Dreamhack i think. Nice. Also, no Smix but InControl as the interviewer? A nice switch off! Looking good!

I will only be able to view the last few games. I hope they don't expect too many views given that schedule.

WE have to see a match between Bombur and Bomber. The casting would be hilarious! (I know Bomber is not on the list of players, thinking about the future)
|
The fact that 80% of the players have been playing strictly LoTV is kinda killing the hype for me. Would be a pretty big surprise if anyone other than Dark or Fanta wins it. Maybe Sos if he can be bothered to make an effort for a 'measly' 10k.
|
So Nate's running the panel this time and Apollo's back on the mic.

Will any of the Ro96 games be broadcast on a second-stream (obviously it says not mainstream) or just not broadcast at all?

Usually community casters cover Ro96/64

Can I go to Inferno Online and watch it live there today? Or any other place that will show it? Like a barcraft?

It was nice to participate on first international LAN but I have to say I was slightly disappointed with the organisation. It was said that at 10.30 there will be a warmup(1hour before the groups start) but when we came not a single PC had SC2 installed. It literally takes 3 clicks to install a game, they could have easily done that. ro96 started 1hour later without a single warmup game. Competitor pass that was paid nobody checked just like players that didn't show up. I think this is the biggest problem with tournament itself. Players sign up and then don't attend which makes some groups stacked at paper but then when tournament is live people don't show up and some groups have 2 players while in some groups there are 4GM players in RO96.I know that generally people dont care for random players that are not on pro level but I still do think it's rather unfair to have such unbalanced groups, because it shouldn't take too long to adjust groups if some players didn't show up. This is an open tournament afterall.Same was in RO64, where iaguz and elazer didn't show up. Why they didn't give a chance to some players that flew to Stockholm rather than just giving freewins against these players? Also it wasn't possible to connect to wifi in order to call someone/send msg/check e-mail because they used that network for other nontournament players which is okay, but I still think such venue should have a wifi connection for participants..
Anyways, I still thank DH for hosting the tournament and hopefully there ll be more in LoTV, but I really wish they cared more at some points.
