SC2VN - The eSports Visual Novel was released yesterday on 9/7/15 and available for free to players on Windows, Mac, and Linux. We were blown away by the reception ranging from professional players and streamers, to players who didn't even know anything about SC2 but still gave the game a shot. It exceeded our wildest expectations, and now we want to bring the game to a wider audience.

SC2VN is a visual novel about the South Korean StarCraft 2 scene. You play as Mach, a foreign semi-pro trying to make it in eSports who soon learns that success in StarCraft takes more than in-game strategy. Meet fellow pros and build a team that can compete with the best.
This game will be released for free. No previous knowledge of StarCraft and eSports required!
This project was made possible by the support of our backers on Kickstarter.
SC2VN is now available on Steam (for free!)

I played yesterday and absolutely loved it, remembering the game from back in 2011. Played through and would have liked a few more decision moments, but the story was very fun to listen to with the old man being the MVP!
Asked a friend that enjoys VNs but that never followed SC2, he says it was very nice if short, although he would have liked multiple endings with romance ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)
A sequel could be fun!

Voted! This was a lot of fun and the nostalgia was real. If you decide to make a sequel I would gladly donate if you do another kickstarter

Yeah I would like to see more, the ending was quite sudden. Voted.

Voted. I would absolutely love to see more of this. I would love to be involved too! (Ha... wishful thinking )

Damn school getting in the way, I gotta finish now this & Yosuga No So-- I mean this is my only current VN. Seems like it'll be a great read. Can't wait to finally get to it.

I remember seeing this when it was in development. It looked like MarineKing could be a romance option from what I remember.

I don't like anime but I DO really like SC2VN

I didn't play it, but I basically did watching fenner (not sure if he's finished yet so I plan to go through his vods). I think that the only reason why I won't be playing it myself is because there didn't seem to be enough options for me to think it worthwhile to play through again. There is so much room for more stuff like interacting when you are practicing (e.g. you choose to focus more on micro and study build orders during your training so +3 to micro and +1 to strategy or something like that- or maybe you did do this, but I didn't go deep enough into the game to see it).
Regardless, I love the exposure you've given to sc2 and there is so much positivity going towards this that I just had to add to it.
