Personally Id like to see them go Prime (cant actually see that happening) so they at least become somewhat competitive again. Best of luck to both of them though!!
I guess PartinG'll leave next? Anyways : San to Prime (or the team that'll be Prime's successor) or retirement, Leenock to Samsung or MVP, PartinG to SKT (:D)
I am starting to feel that I can influence what happens in real life with my FPL rosters.
Next season, just tell me who you want to see shining, I'll put them in my anti, and for a bad year/leave/exclusion, I can put them as captain or main player in my team T.T
Hope they find a new team anyway, they can both show some nice plays!
Today I have some news that will not make anyone happy. The contracts of the SC2 competitors San and Leenock will expire on August 31st, after discussing with them and both sides considering performance as well as the products of their competition, we have decided not to resign.
Online Bank (AKA wan in international) and Flash Wolves as a whole thank San and Leenock for their full-hearted service and hard work to the team, and thickening the level of competition in Taiwan! As for the next move for both of these players to develop, we give them the greatest of blessings, and hope that they develop and shine bright on the world stage.
In the world of eSports, Flash Wolves will continue to endeavor to do the right things, thank you to all of our fans for the support and faith.
And I just found out, five months later, Slam retired. I feel like a piece of shit for being absent for so long. He was one of the best non-Koreans on this side of the planet.

No Terrans allowed in Taiwan (really, there aren't any to speak of)
I wonder why... One would think if you're gonna invest all that time and money into a teamhouse you would want the best possible environment for your team, with the best possible practice.

While not optimal they still get to play vs terran on ladder

Yeah but he wasn't on the team, just a team agreement between yoe and sbenu (started from yoe + startale). But it makes sense for him to just join the team but we'll see. I don't think Sbenu can offer the traveling he wants but then again there are not that many events to travel to anymore nowadays.

No, he still has to wait 4 years.
Isn't this untrue in the specific SKT case? He was on SKT but left before contract ended, he rejoins SKT and regains his old contract thus allow him to play in PL?

at this point, going to prime is career suicide. they can barely provide you with the basic stuff to live, let alone a good practice environment or general hope of ever being relevant again.
especially leenock has way higher standards than prime.

Plus, if he joined SK Telecom, there would not be any room for him. He'd get to play once or twice a year, when Innovation/soO/etc. were out of town for events . Jokes aside, I think he'd be played about 2/3 of the time, if he were on SKT. It'd be cool to have Parting on Sbenu, given how in need they are of Protoss, but alas...
I suspect Leenock will be picked up by Sbenu, given his recent success? As for San... I have no idea!

I think if he joins SKT he can play in PL; it's not that he is banned from Proleague, but he is only allowed to play for the team that owns his rights and that is SKT.

In that situation would he be able to play in proleague as if nothing ever happened? I imagine the answer is yes because he's on SBENU's roster already but idk how kespa handles team changes if its within an established partnership
leenock would be great for KT , but after seeing what they did to Life.. he kind of lost his style.. trying to play textbook strats.instead of creativity . and never having a break.. playing every single time the same 4 .. doesnt work.. you need replacements all the time rotations in.. the line up. people has ups and downs.. thats why skt is doing great now.. everyone is able to help the team at this point . while others get cover in dust in KT bench
Really hope Leenock continues to get regular playing time in PL next season, whether for SBENU or another team. He's definitely shown he deserves to be a starter this season. His most recent play in R4 has been impressive, even in defeat. The flair and creative style he brings to the game is exciting, and a blast of fresh air in an often stagnant PL meta.
Damn Leenock was one of Sbenu's best players. Oh well. Glad to see Calm back to playing SC2 though. Would have thought he was would join a KESPA team though
Leenock should go to SBENU as far as I'm concerned. When I ran into him in Korea a few weeks ago, he seemed really happy living at the SBENU team house. He gets along really well with Legend and the many other players in SBENU. San could join too but I have no idea how close he is with the team.
Leenock still has good results in both PL and individual leagues, he will not have problems to find a team, Sbenu or not. San is meh. Bad results so far and his game style is not enough. What about the military service for this guys?
