After the group stages I caught up with Departure before he left for the evening. Seeing as how many people don't know him (outside of ProLeague mainly) I took the chance to chat to him about his games with Bunny, his appearances in ProLeague and overcoming his nerves to qualify for GSL / SSL next season.
Enjoy! As always I'll do my best to do a little more video'ing tomorrow when I'm not at the casting desk. Hope you enjoyed the commentary today!

Edit Sunday morning: Text from the interview below. Enjoy!

JoRoSaR / John Sargent: Hi guys, I’m at Gfinity here with MVP’s Departure who has successfully progressed through the group stage. You’ll be playing in the semi-final tomorrow. Now…your games were amazing today, especially your story against Bunny – so I want to talk to you about that first. Your first match against Bunny you lost 2-1. I’ll get straight to the point – how many mind games were there in game 3 when you went for the Roach push and Bunny switched to bio? Did you think he was going mech on Iron Fortress or did you know he was going bio?
Departure / Hyun Sung Min: I thought Bunny would play mech so I pushed (with the) roach (timing) – but it failed.
J: So you thought he was going mech on Iron Fortress.
D: Yes.
J: But then of course, you had a rematch with Bunny as well – and this time on Iron Fortress you thought, “OK, he’s going bio, I’m going to play a normal game”, so we saw Zergling Baneling Muta. But before I talk about that, let’s talk about Bunny’s mech game. You played some mech games today against MarineLord, also against Bunny. Especially on your first match on Terraform, crazy 40-50 minute game, you lost two times to Bunny in very long, very big mech games. What was your biggest mistake in those games? How could you win?
D: I think I’m not good versus mech, but I’m very (confident) against bio. So I really really prayed, “Please Bunny, play bio on Iron Fortress.” And he played bio, so I could win easily.
J: So maybe if Bunny played mech it’s a different story?
D: But I think maybe mech isn’t as good on Iron Fortress, because it’s very big.
J: And your push as well with the fast hive with the three vipers – the roach push – very effective as well. Do you do that a lot against mech, or is that the first time you’re doing it on a live stream?
D: Sometimes I played it, but not all the time. Very (seldomly).
J: Well congratulations, you’re in the semifinals now, the last 4 players. Is there anybody you want to avoid, are you afraid of any players? Who do you think will be the strongest? Is it TRUE? A lot of people are saying TRUE, what do you think?
D: I think TRUE and First are very hard (opponents).
J: For those of us who haven’t seen you as much, we’ve seen you play in ProLeague of course, you beat herO, Flash and some other really top level players. We’ve only seen you in those 1SET 1SET (best of 1) games and haven’t seen you so much in a longer tournament format like this weekend. Is that because you’re a nervous player normally? What’s your approach to these kind of games, how has that been for you?
D: I think my skill level is pretty good in the practice room and team house, but I always…I become very nervous in SSL or GSL qualifiers.
J: How will you change that? Does this tournament help you, so that next year for example you can qualify for GSL and SSL? Does it help playing in the booth for those long series?
D: Yeah, for sure. Also, I was very nervous versus Bunny, but I won. Maybe I think next time, it will be less (nervous).
J: All right! Well best of luck tomorrow, of course lots on the line. You’re in the money now, so congratulations, and maybe you’ll be able to win! Thank you very much, and maybe I’ll talk to you tomorrow after the tournament. Take care guys, we’ll be back with more content from Gfinity later on this weekend.
