Bomber, Keen, Impact, jjakji, Hush, Check, and Yoda. Currently, I think Bomber, Impact, or Yoda are my best, or possibly just keeping TY. TY will likely net me 1 point this week, but who knows. Sbenu is looking pretty solid, and I could see them taking it 3-2. What do you guys think?

Sorry +1 Bbyong +4 Gumiho 0 Life 0 Myungsik +1 TANGTANG 0 SBENU +3 (I am not gonna search for the streaks, that's painful to evaluate by hand). So I get the whole of 9 points (after losing 2 points for trades that did nothing, as expected). I really don't have any idea how you make those teams that get so many points while fitting in the 30-point budget at the start...

Thanks ! The round is far from over though^^ On August 04 2015 21:43 opisska wrote: You guys really need some perspective. This week in the hole: Sorry +1 Bbyong +4 Gumiho 0 Life 0 Myungsik +1 TANGTANG 0 SBENU +3 (I am not gonna search for the streaks, that's painful to evaluate by hand). So I get the whole of 9 points (after losing 2 points for trades that did nothing, as expected). I really don't have any idea how you make those teams that get so many points while fitting in the 30-point budget at the start... My general advice for a good starting team would be : at the start, avoid 8+ players, they are not cost-efficient enough and they are a real disaster for your team if one underperforms like Life. Focus on 4-7 players. With a bit of knowledge and a lot of luck you can even get a cheap player that'll bring a lot of points (like Blaze or DeParture this round). Also don't try to plan ahead much, the first week you need to have basically all your players playing (except your potential "lulz captain" like Stork) and your anti needs to be made only of players not playing. Then you're off to a good start and trading kicks in.

Hm, I usually look for those 5-7 pointers who I know will do well. soO at 7 was a solid deal. I did not see Innovation, Maru, or Dream paying for themselves any more than someone like soO would. In fact, Maru has been a total flop (nothing compared to that one time Flash got 0 points or w/e though...). Players like Dear (had been performing very well lately, and had an easy starter match), Curious (a $5 player who was totally on the rise), and Journey ($4 player who was slightly favored imo). Then, once you get off to a good start from the first week, you're able to trade them for other players who are favored in the following weeks. Basically, look at those solid 5-7 players who are facing Prime or possibly weak players on JAGW/MVP/Sbenu. Perhaps use 1 or 2 filler players (Stork, for instance, is only 1 point, but should net 2+ points from team wins alone). Then you just trade two of your players for players favored in the following week. The secret is pretty much picking up the players who will be against Prime the next week, lol. Also, I recommend checking out Aligulac for recent results and seeing who is on the rise and who is on a hotstreak. When this season of FPL first started, SKT players were dominating pretty much every single thing out there. Unfortunately, they all cost a lot, so it's impossible to pick em all up! But there are other players, like Journey, who had been playing well, and only cost $4.

The week 3 results are not applied yet, so the trades have no effect. Or is it just that the tax is not deduced in the ranking? Still seems a little arbitrary and weird to see a ranking and then the points next to it are not ordered. Took me some time to be sure that I am not just insane ![]()
