Well let's see this on the positive side, at least it's on Deadwing so the heavy cheese possibilities are limited. And after that it's a PvP, a MU in which herO has been better recently. And if herO beats sOs, then it's all good for CJ.
Although honestly, I'd say that sOs kills CJ until ByuL gets to play. Then the question is : if ByuL capable of all-killing JinAir?

Normally he's able to (but it's not unlikely he gets stopped). But if he actually wins GSL the day before he's probably not capable of it at all .
I'm more interested whether CJ will field sKyHigh or another Protoss (pretty sure herO, ByuL and Bbyong are locked choices).

I reckon it all depends on who they're facing. If it's sOs or Trap -> Sora/Hush. If it's Maru or Cure -> sKyHigh.

Well I guess it doesn't even make much of a difference, I'd trust none of them against Rogue.
Also I have this feeling Jin Air is gonna hold Trap in reserve. "Break glass in case of ByuL."

Maybe sKyHigh can pull off some Bbyong-style mech against Rogue

I feel like CJ players always fail with their mech against Rogue this year. Like, I'm pretty sure the round 1 playoffs had a game where Rogue rolled banelings into thors and it kinda worked.

I think you mean too hung over after drowning his sorrows in drink after a crushing and humiliating defeat at the hands of Rain?

Talking about the game itself... CJ Entus is not taking any chances after a horrible Round 3... and herO himself isn't in the best days too... Byul will be spared for the end.
Yeah I know PL officially uses the Bronze and Silver Match terminology but it kinda sucks, the quarterfinals and semifinals we had before (or even "Playoff Match 1", "Playoff Match 2") were better

See games #5-7 from the R2 Finals a short time ago.
Don't like herO being fielded first regardless. Too much risk to begin with alongside diminishing returns given the map order. Wouldn't save him for the end either in his current shaky form, but sending him out 2nd or 3rd seems appropriate. CJ was likely expecting a vP though since sOs and Trap were the probable opponents to open on Deadwing, w/ Cure being a possible surprise pick.
Would've rather seen CJ take a chance starting Hush on his favorite map vP (even if you only figure he's good for 1 win at best) or roll the dice w/ sKyHigh despite his disappointing play of late. If herO beats sOs to open, it seems likely that JAGW will put out Maru on Echo. While having Rogue ready in reserve for Expedition and Cactus if need be.
Whereas if sOs wins, CJ is already a world of trouble (just like the R2 finals). Think they would be tempted to send out Bbyong (who they ideally want to save for Vaani/Coda, and closing duties). Although SKyHigh makes sense if they want to save Bbyong as their final card. Unless they really want to gamble and take a chance w/ Byul before the preferred Z maps.

sOs is a bonjwa of broken dreams. You think you're about to win $100,000, and then you get cannon rushed or proxy gated and left with your head in your hands wondering what happened.

No need to worry about a hangover. I doubt they will let Byul drink his sorrows away.
Rain will really need to cry a lot after his loss to make ByuL feel sorrow
A bit off-topic, but I really got to know...
When is the GSL finals? Is it Saturday or Sunday? I don't see anything on the calendar, no preview, no LR thread...
It's on the calendar as, "GSL Final"
1d, 2h
Oh thanks, my bad. I was just gazing at the 'events' side-bar.
(In my defence, a few days before the SSL finals, I scrolled down the entire month's calendar and found no updates on GSL and SSL, so I became rather sceptical since)

Not sure if you are a PBU or a lurker. In any case, I was simply stating my opinion that sOs is a superior player.

The real concern is how Byul will do less than 24 hours after a crushing loss in the biggest series of his life.
herO might be in better form than sOs currently but it is the mental block & trauma against sOs that he has to overcome. Dude lost shitton of money because sOs 2gated him in a IEM finals when his (sOs) tournament life was hanging.
Byul maybe can be more confident on proleague stage because he has been most successful there. We'll find out tomorrow whether he has recovered or not. Also, not like he will be going up against Rain again anytime soon.
