Stats is playing SSL semifinals on Thursday and Flash and TY are still probably better than their opponents.

Stats probably wants to practice for SSL

I feel like if we win, it'll be 3-1. If we lose, 3-0 if Solar's in a rut, or 3-2 going WLLWL.

Player : "Coach i'm your best player why don't you play me ?" Coach : "Who are you again ?" Player : "I'm Stats". Coach : "Who ?".
Seriously......

Seriously...... Jesus Christ, the guy has a friggin SSL semifinals to play this week. If he lost that 0-4 and had to play on Monday you'd blame the coaches for fielding him and not letting him practice <.<
It's not an insta-loss if they don't field him.

Damn, SBENU milking MMA as much as possible but guess he doesn't have much to practice for, right now, other than SPL. MMA fighting!

I think Dark is in a slump. Got knocked out in Ro32 for GSL and failed to qualify for SSL. Plus, with the surge of Dream, who I believe is as good as his results have been but people tend to disregard him because he hasn't won a premier title yet, and Classic's resurgence, Dark is getting overshadowed a bit, which might be affecting his mentality a tad bit.

Just give TANGTANG more chances to evolve as a player -.- On June 05 2015 17:37 Inflicted wrote:On June 05 2015 17:34 GreenMash wrote: Maru benched??? :o
Also why is KT benching Stats when he's their best player? .. GSL/SSL Only SSL, he's not in GSL. GSL for Maru, SSL for Stats SKT making Classic play though KT teams are generally known for not giving very many fucks about that kind of thing. Hell, KT fielded Life the day after he won GSL.
This is simply not true. Stop bundling SKT and KT people. My reply from another thread.

The coaches and/or stats could have requested he not play in order to keep his prepared builds secret for the finals. Every single former BW player considers team leagues more important than individual leagues This is actually not true for KT specifically. As a Bisu fan who saw him lose countless times in individual leagues since joining SKT, I also came to notice when someone like Flash would often get breaks from ace matches on days before individual matches. I agree with your general statement, but KT coaches do have a history of caring about an individual's success.
edit: To vent even more. It's more frustrating that you are a KT fan making that post. SKT fans actually have to deal with this shit time after time. Playing after a GSL is completely different then playing before @ your Life statement.

Fun fact, before his season 1 SSL semifinal, Stats was not given a day off from Proleague. Neither was Life before his Code S Ro8 match against INnoVation. Neither was Flash for SSL Challenger matches or his Code S group. Neither was TY. Stats is literally the first player to be regularly fielded by KT this season to get a day off in Proleague for an individual tournament in Korea.
So I would say I'm not wrong in saying that, at least this year, they have not been known for giving fucks about whether or not the players had individual tournaments so far. And SKT, in very similar fashion, always fields players before their individual leagues call.

Interesting how Classic is playing while Stats is benched to practice for SSL...
I wonder what Classic has in mind...

Yeah, it may not be as cool to play him right after a finals either, but he is employed by them and has a job to do.

They'll be so underprepared that, no matter how good they are, their chances of losing are way higher than normal. If you have good alternative players, why the risk? That's what I think, at any rate.
