Masters Gaming Arena (formerly known as MSI Beat IT) has been announced for 2015.
MSI MGA will kick off with regional qualifiers for the United States, Europe and Asia. The first qualifier will start in July for Asia, with subsequent weeks covering the rest of the regions across the globe. The 4-day Grand Finals will be held in late August in the United States (PAX Prime), where the best gamers from all around the world will compete over more than $200,000 USD in cash prizes and travel support.

Qualifiers
The tournament will feature qualifiers running on the ESL Play website, with details of the qualifiers being shown on the MSI MGA portal: http://mga.msi.com/

How come there's only 1 qualifier per region? Can we expand the tournament to 32??

Lets hope that europeans are able to play in EU qualifier immediatly after wcs /= but I guess it will be like copenhagen games - no top europeans to give other regions a chance

expanding the tournament to 32 is way more expensive than having 16 players, for not a significant viewership increase. I agree though 32 players would be sweet

Or the amount of invites prevent it from being T1, one of the two or both maybe.

Yeah. I'd expect something like 40-50k for sc2, 80k+ for heroes and the rest is travel and stuff.

MSI puts on great tournaments. I just wish they would create a consistent brand for them so it'd be appreciated.

Pretty weak that all the PAX Prime Badges are sold out already. Will there be a separate area to watch this like Blizzcon? Or do they really think people at PAX will sit down and watch SC2?

I'm hoping they have separate tickets and a separate area for this, but I haven't seen any information about tickets anywhere. Last year they did that for the LoL tournament at Prime so I think it might possible. I'd love to go watch this live, but I'm probably not going to buy Prime tickets just to see this.

Yes, it's 200k USD in prizes AND travel support. For the actual prize pools: Heroes has 50k and SC2 has 25k.
