Yeah there should be some perk at like $20 and $50. Something small obviously but something. Like at $50 they have a big whiteboard behind the couch with the names of all the people who donated $50+.

If the lineup is anything like the last HSC I will srsly consider getting tickets and a cheap hostel or hotel for the weekend

I don't even follow SC2 anymore, but whenever I spot HSC on the streamlist I always tune it. The early ones had the best atmosphere to spectate.

Tickets were there last time, because of the Königsburg, HSC XI should not have tickets afaik. Also I can recommend the good old Ibis Budget Hotel near Krefeld main station. It's part of the HSC feeling.

If TakeTV adds sth in the 5-20 dollar range, I will buy it.
edit: Just in idea that crossed my mind: They should partner up with Liquid and add a donation goal for like 50 dollars that gives you a forum icon or sth. I bet that would work wonders. Probably totally unrealistic, since Liquid has no incentive to offer sth like that but hey, it was just an idea...

Not new or unique to Starcraft in general but quite new/unique for a tournament like the HSC.

Indeed but in this case take is clearly explaining that they lack some sponsor money, which is not a great news.
Well i guess its normal tho, HOTS is dying, if i was a sponsor company myself i would wait until LOTV to sponsor new things.
We've seen HOTS way too much.

i guess Take misscalculated big... last year getting into an totally oversized new location, also expanding to stream and comment a whole lot of other games from cs:go and heroes, and now dont got money left over for hsc... well i try to get him some dollars but actually he should get a better accountancy...
