KiWiKaKi is one of those StarCraft players that people never seem to be able to forget. "The Mad Scientist" is his unofficial nickname because of the crazy strategies he came up with back in the day, many times revolutionizing the way Protoss was played at the time.
KiWi is a Legend that was born and forged in ROOT, a member of the original family and a Legend in the World of StarCraft. He is back... at least for now. CatZ sat down with KiWiKaKi for a short interview and asked him a few questions pertaining to his future in StarCraft 2, and specifically Legacy of the Void.

Sometimes, when you go to the ROOT Liquipedia page, you see players that are still only listed as "inactive", and you can't help but laugh at the idea that they'll ever play competitive Starcraft again.
He left to become a professional gambler. Any comment on how that went? I played with him randomly on ladder over the years. Whenever I asked, all I got was "good" without any detail.

I will never forget that game vs Stephano when on shattered temple when he used his mothership to blink his entire army then proceed to archon toilet everything.

Can't wait to see his crazy builds again. I used to love pulling off his 2 gate opening versus zerg and into 3 base protoss way back in WoL when there was destructible debris at your 3rd.

lol if he really wanted to make money he'd never bother with starcraft, the only reason anybody plays starcraft is because they like it, added money is a bonus, but realistically starcraft players are pretty broke in general, even the top tiers, it's for the passion!
