my guess is they told TY he was going to come out for the first map against Jin Air long before they beat SKT, so that he could prep for that map without even worrying about SKT.

In the most aggressive and bold move of the season, KT acquires Maru, trading a high-value Stats away, right before the match begins. All seems to be going smoothly for Jin Air as Trap takes the first map, but then Maru suddenly shows up on the opposing bench! In a panic, Trap tries a cheese, but it's too late and Maru defeats Trap, leading Stats to show up to everyone's astonishment. Given Flash's subpar form KT should and will field the other 3 major players instead, unless something plays out weirdly I guess (like Flash would be a great matchup imo against Cure, if fielded, and he's very good on Deadwing at least, but don't think that's enough to choose him over someone like Zest/Stats).
Zest may have been shaky at the very start of Proleague this year but his play has looked markedly improved in the last few weeks starting with his IEM win. He's been looking a ton more confident and has since beaten Bbyong 3-0 and gone 3-1 in Round 2 PL only losing to Maru. Feel like he's gotta be fielded. Theorycrafting, only way I see him not getting chosen is if KT runs up to a quick big lead and have some special way to snipe Maru before bringing Life out for the ace...

This seems like the smartest and most realistic strat- baby and flash aren't too different in performance atm so that extra prep is big boost here

I know Flash is generally a KT mainstay and all, but even as a fan of the player and team I wouldn't mind at all if Zest and Stats got sent out over him. In this playoff series. Really not that big of a deal at all imo given his form...
If it was the Round 2 Finals, or the Grand Finals and KT was there... then I would 100% expect Flash to be there in some way. Just hope KT manages to advance past Jin Air regardless, so he'd have at least another chance to prove himself if he doesn't play today.

About time God has a seat on the bench. His archangels are more than capable. Still salty about wasting 4pts in FPL on TY who never got in the lineup except for the one time where he didn't even get to play. Really hope KT goes to a five or six man rotation next round and gives TY/Action more reps. Really enjoy watching both their styles.
