Nice to see HyuN finally qualify for a top-tier tournament in Korea, he's been struggling to keep good results recently but qualifying for NSSL is a start.

And he didn't even make roaches in one game

WOW, Creator qualified for Both GSL and NSSL, do Creator, Damn, pretty nice to see him back on track
|
Also, PartinG beat soO AGAIN!!!! Good on him

Correct me if I'm wrong, I was sleepy, but didn't Parting make it through without making colossus? Just blink stalker/sentry/+2. Dude is a fucking maniac.

Just a confirmation: still no ByuN.
Dark, Classic and PartinG didn't lose a single game through the bracket (though the first two had the benefit of a forfeit against them)
Only foreigners who participated were State and PengWin; both lost in first round but State did take one game off ByuL!
Other more notable participants who didn't make it:
GuMiho (lost to Dark and Soulkey and then to DongRaeGu in the wildcard) TRUE (lost to Guilty) MC (lost to Bbyong and sOs then apparently forfeited the wildcard) Rain (lost to GuMiho) TY (lost to sKyHigh) jjakji (lost to sKyHigh) Bomber (forfeited his match; retirement confirmed?) DongRaeGu (lost to PartinG and soO, and then to sKyHigh in the wildcard) San (lost to Hurricane) MarineKing (lost to a Protoss named "Kan"; not a good sign) TaeJa (forfeited his match; retirement confirmed?) Impact (lost to Creator) Ryung (lost to Rain) MMA (lost to Trap and Creator) CranK (lost to Bunny (the Korean)) Solar (lost to Pet) SuperNova (lost to Seed) YoDa (lost to eMotion) Terminator (lost to GuMiho) First (lost to Soulkey) sKyHigh (lost to Classic and Symbol, then to Creator in the wildcard)

That's like all we casted last time."

Current race balance for NSSL Season 2 (28 players left in tournament):
12 Protoss, 10 Zerg, 6 Terran.

His TvP is like the complete opposite end of the spectrum, tho.
The thing I find kind of cool about this, he was exactly the same in Brood War: http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/korean/players/554_sKyHigh. I feel like most of the KeSPA guys didn't show that kind of continuity between the two games.

Yep and from qualifier (15 spots), only two taken by terrans. That is really bad. They did better in the GSL qualifier, but still came last.

Oh come on. The GSL qualifiers were super even. Terran "came last" by having 1 less than Zerg. And if you look at all of Code A, there are 17 Terrans compared to only 12 Zerg. And we just had a TvT grand finals. I don't think it's time to call up David Kim just because Terrans did badly in one particular qualifier.

guys the numbers don't lie terran is weak and it is early 2014 again can't you see
