TvT without double Mech (Maru hardly ever Mechs) is sick sick sick! It's only boring if you don't understand what's going on. Sadly, between Power of Protoss and the christmas break, there's been very little TvT broadcasted in the last year and a half...

Regarding whether or not TvT is boring: I think if one of the players had a tendency to go mech in TvT the series could get really sick, but Dream and Maru (but esp. Dream) rather strike me as the TvT yolodrop players.

That was my whole point. Mech vs Mech often makes for really good games. I prefer it over bio vs bio, because doomdrops... TvT is like ZvZ: the longer it goes, the better it becomes. It just doesn't go long most of the time. (all of that one quality level above ZvZ though)

Aside from some midgame composition differentitation the average TvT looks likes this (to me): Both players do some 1 or even 2 base stuff MOST OF THE TIME 1 of them is gamewinningly ahead If not: TvT becomes a strategyless circlejerk (because speedmedivacs > all) and the first to land a doomdrop wins I can't find joy in the matchup. Even PvP, especially lategame, but also early game I can kinda enjoy, but TvT? Not. Again, this is just me personally. Some TvTs are really good, mostly the ones being played out on big maps because doom drops aren't as retardedly good as on smaller maps, but for the most part I despise it.
