2 points for the MLG champ who just qualified for IEM Katowice and he was fielded and guaranteed to play week one? Pretty obvious to me. Of course the ace match was unexpected icing on the cake but even still it would be a value buy

And when I looked at who he was playing, I saw Trap, who was starting 3 times, and imo is better than hurricane. Pretty easy pick, and based on last season he would probably start 2 more times aside from this week. It was just unsettling how everyone was jumping on the bandwagon though.

Me too. I think that means that we're good role models. People look at us to decide their FPL's. "OH, FMW HAS TRAP, DREAM, AND SOO?? I BETTER GET THEM TOO!" Something like that.

Trap at 2 points was really a nobrainer, he might not be Innovation-level of reliable, but he's certainly worth 2 points, and he already showed it. I also have a lot of faith in Losira, but there might be some LGIM/NesTea fanboism in the way.

But since you get points for simply being played, and Trap isn't one of Jin Air's strongest 4, he doesn't have a super high chance of playing a lot, hence the low score. But yes, a 2 is a huge steal for a player like Trap, regardless. Considering his performance yesterday and sOs being slumped that hard, Trap could see a lot more presence now.

But I don't see him becoming a "starter," as one of the issues with being a starter is that the other teams know you're a starter and are going to see you play/prepare for your style a lot more, which is quite possibly a main part of the reason why sOs isn't doing as well right now. So I don't see Trap taking sOs's ''starter'' spot away from him, but rather solidifying himself as the 5th player and occasional 4th.

Something like that. Me three! Someone should throw up a Dream - soO - Trap club, or even a club for the people who have all 6 of the most popular main-team players on their main team, the most popular pro team as their pro team, and the top 3 most popular anti-team players on their anti-team ![]()

Not that I don't think he's good, but he wasn't cheap and I expect SKT to be sending out INno and Dark in every match meaning soO has to compete with Classic and Dream (and occasionally others) for a spot in the lineup. Basically what I think too. Don't forget that we saw soO very rarely in R1 ; additionally he's an excellent player for Bo5+ but can be sniped in Bo1 (unless he uses dem sick CatZ BOs).

Considering his strong performance in PL playoffs last round, and his not being in any individual leagues right now, I think he'll have high priority on the roster.

People anti-ing Solar when he's just made it to the Code S Ro8 seems silly to me. Yeah he lost a lot in R1 but mostly to trick cheeses and close games. Everyone has a bad streak sometimes. I still think my YongHwa pick on anti will pay off despite not working out today. Probably the most overrated 7-cost player ever. Seriously, he has the same cost as CJ herO. That's just nuts.

Dream and Trap seemed like the cheapest "good" players that could enable you to get more expensive ones. I didn't pick soO, I think he's a gamble at the moment, I got Rogue and oh boy did he live up to my expectations so fucking clutch! I just hope Dark kills Myung today since I got him on my anti. edit: Solar is indeed a dangerous anti in my opinion.
