Huh, given that 1500 teams have already signed up and a lot of people are picking from a small group of favorites to be their captain (Innovation, Life, etc.) I would expect ties to happen pretty often.

If you dropped Has you would be able to afford both billowy and Dynamite. Then you could trade Has back in later if it looks like he is going to play.

Losira is totally favored against aLive but not significantly. He had a great round 1, but he tends to be wildly inconsistent. Wouldn't put aLive on main team but not anti either.
Best 2 point Zerg is a toss up between Ragnarok, Symbol, and Armani.
Armani is the most likely to play this round. Symbol is on the team most likely to win in week 1 but is the least likely of the 3 to play. Ragnarok is somewhere in between.
I'd pick up Symbol for the Jin Air point and then trade him down the line.

 doesnt matter because every round comes down to who makes the better trades. nowadays everyone is really good at finding the most efficient picks so alot of the opening week teams are very similar.

yeah starting teams are similar because everyone expects the same players to do well. plus everyone picks players that play week 1. but predicting who's actually going to play most of the round, who's going to suck, and who's going to skyrocket is what makes the winner.

After a bunch of rounds of passing on ByuL and getting burnt because of it I decided to pick him. He's been way too consistent in Proleague and always gets playing time. Flash at 6 is a no brainer to me, even after his horrible showing last round. He's got way too much upside. Rogue and Stats, like ByuL, were picked because of their consistency. I decided on Sora over Trap for my 2pt Protoss since Jin Air has the clearer go-to 4 man lineup with Maru/sOs/Rogue/Cure opposed to herO/ByuL/Bbyong/? Lastly, picked Stork since it's Stork, and because there weren't any 1pters on SKT/KT/JIN/CJ.

Alternative zergs for that value are Sleep, Action, PenguiN, and Terror.
Sleep and Action barely ever got play time even before the arrival of Life and First. You really think it's going to get better now?
PenguiN seems like the weakest Zerg on KT. Doubt he's coming off the bench.

Meanwhile:
Armani has been on the ups for awhile. He just needs to get over those offline nerves. Stork is bound to send him.
Symbol is historically a very strong Zerg who's on a small upswing lately. If nothing else, Jin Air will probably win more than KT and definitely SGK.
Then there's Ragnarok, the only other CJ Zerg who could easily be in the 4th CJ spot.
So it's 3 guys who could see play time and maybe win vs guys who likely aren't getting a single win between the 4 of them.

As long as Solar and Flash regain even half of their prior skills, the pick pays off imo. Adding Dark lets me have a full 3 potential aces on the team. Dream is good for the price, and although I usually prefer to spread out my picks between teams, I'm fine with two from SKT considering how favored they are. Trap and Sora are cheap and both play PvPs, so a decent chance of winning even against better players. I am also banking on Samsung really turning around their performance from last round.
Anti was very tricky; although none of them play the first week, they all are potential starters (except maybe sKyHigh), and on strong teams so they'll get a decent amount of teamwin points. Other option would have been Cure/3pts/3pts, but he's even more likely to get fielded at some point (5-2 last round, best record on JinAir), at which point his higher point value makes trading more difficult. Also, he was even sent as an ace once last round; a surprise ace appearance is not totally out of the question. There's absolutely no way TY/sKyHigh/Classic gets sent as ace.
