Today mYinsanity is happy to announce Mackenzie “Petraeus” Smith as our new Starcraft 2 player. Petraeus was already living for a couple of months in our gaming house in Switzerland and after he left his former team ROOT we decided that he would fit perfectly in our team. Petraeus is originally from Auckland, New Zealand and has been an active part of the SEA competitive gaming scene since early 2012. Before moving to Switzerland he was practicing in the ROOT gaming house in California. Petraeus is a very dedicated player, he is very hardworking and we are sure that with the environment we provide him in our gaming house he will become one of the big players in the Starcraft 2 scene this year!
Petraeus sadly didn’t qualifiy for the first season of WCS 2015 but he will stay in Switzerland and continue to practice for the upcoming second season of WCS 2015 this year. Since we decided to participate in almost every upcoming Starcraft 2 teamleague such as SC2ITL, RSTL and the (hopefully) upcoming Shoutcraft Clanwars, Petraeus will be a huge improvement for our Lineup and we are sure that with the help of our new player we will be able to show you some great clanwars in the upcoming months.
Hahaha, what a brilliant video . Congrats Petraeus and mYi, it's a shame he didn't qualify this season, but he is really good and I think this year will be great for him!
Sick pickup, Petraeus is a really talented player.
Deserves a lot more exposure - I'm sure 2015 is going to be huge for him if he keeps practicing and dedicating himself the way he has done in the past. Hopefully without his characteristic BM
mYi has a pretty stacked lineup too! Weow. Good luck all!
He always looks like he has a ton of potential, but is a bit unrefined when I've watched him. Perfect characteristics for a young pick-up for an excellent team like mYi.
mYi has top-level NA, EU, KR, and SEA players on their main team alone. They've been one of the best teams in the world for a long time now, and this just reinforces that they have a presence everywhere.

Same here, I guess it might be the logo aswell for me. But yeah, I'll rather see a nice simple shirt/polo like korean team has with just the logo and the sponsor.

But are they getting too big? What other organization is picking people up with this frequency? I feel like that should be a red flag, but I don't want to be a jaded SC2 fan either.

Except the most important one, PL...
We were considering it but none of our korean players are interested to participate in proleague, its way to time consuming and we want our players to regualary attend events all over the world.

Not really. mYinsanity's house is a bit like the ROOT house of Europe, pretty much everyone has a rotation in there. Pet isn't even the first Oceanic player to live there - PiG was there all summer.
