With LotV Beta officially being released, it is safe to say that this may very well be the final HotS liquibet season we see on TL. + Show Spoiler +
LOL J/K We still have plenty of HotS liquibets left.
For this particular season, it was really difficult to tell who was going to win. Not until the very last liquibet points were inputted did we finally get our champion~! With the addition of SSL into liquibets, the battle for the top spot for fiercer than ever. More points means more chances for comebacks. More points mean more chances for drastic drops in rakings. More points mean more stress. But ultimately, more points meant more competition. And the competition this time was quite the memorable one! Granted, WCS merging into one tournament meant no more AM/EU split, but it looks like these top 10 players did not let that affect them at all! The playoffs for both GSL and SSL were definitely the game changers. Playoffs for Proleague were also pretty darn high. I myself, was ranked 2nd at one point. What place did I finish? Effing 55... Liquibets are unforgiving and brutal to the point where you just want to cry. One wrong call and it takes a miracle to get back into the game. But for the chosen 10 below, they stayed alive until the very end, made the right calls, and finished as the best 10 betters for this season! Of course... No one can deny that this season could have finished entirely differently had WCS given me just a bit more spaces in between the playoffs matches. I couldn't make anything past the quarter-finals because of the 24 hour rule.
Alright. You've all waited long enough. It's time to crown our champion. Our champion did not stay at the top from the very beginning. In fact, he was nowhere to be found in the top 100. But after SSL and GSL, MarsAtHack showed up out of nowhere, and he made quite the statement. Yup, he was here to stay, and stay he did! The brave 9 fought their hardest, but in the end, they could not overthrow our champion.
So without further ado, CONGRATULATIONS to MarsAtHack!!!
Thank you very much to everyone who participated for Season 10. Season 11 should be starting up soon so stay tuned and get those bets ready!

The ranking always has a tiebreaker based on post count. SeeKeR does not usually consider it for these recaps, but since there was a 700+ way tie, he made an exception.
NOTE: The only reason it says that this thread was created in January 22 was because I made a joke and made the recap right after the first set of points.

I was really confused when reading the first few comments, and I'd seen the thread when it was first posted.
I feel like I have ranked too high (top 100!) because the bets give too many points for high stages of tournaments. I mean getting 7 points from regular PL season is almost impossible for me, but predicting the GSL finals was pretty easy, yet it gives the same reward. And the only top 4 match I mis-predicted had the bet cancelled because of the 24-hours rule ...
It's a pity that WCS could not be in this beyond Ro16, maybe if one could just bet for the 1st/2nd place out of the pool of 16 players? Or just forget the 24-hour rule in this case, everyone who cares about SC2 is sitting at their PC and watching anyway
It would be nice to be able to see a list of votes for each member, so you can see how exactly they accumulated their points (you can already do this for FPL.) Even if it was just released for the top 10 when the recap is posted, I think it would make the result more fun to see.
