but, again, that's just what I think.
Please do not go for one-sided accusations. While Robert Ohlen could speak out and was interviewed, his father wasn't. There's no way we can know what really happened and who's right - nor is there a need to heat up things without any facts given.

Yep. We do not know what happened, and we will probably never know. Aside from that cool lineup, standard DH I want to say. Oh yeah these pictures are pretty awful too. DH really needs to change that.
Wow what a perfect caster lineup, Artosis and Apollo alone is enough for me. Best casters ever, Incontrol in there too is an awesome bonus =)
Regarding the Robert Ohlen controversy I find it very unlikely that his own story is accurate. Its just not really plausible, no matter what went down, we don't know for sure at the moment.
DH has gotten this really great casting/hosting setup. It's nice to see Tasteless as panel hosts. Suits him so well, and also great casting team. Gonna be great tournament
Looking good! I really like Apollo and Artosis casting together, remember them casting Naniwa vs Jaedong RO4 DHOpen Stockholm 2013 and the finals as well. They really managed to find the details, and highlight upgrades finishing just exactly for holding a push and so on. Really good!
Actually I think Snute might have a good chance to do well. All the Protosses here are within his reach, and he can probably ZvZ out most Zergs (except Life and Solar, maybe soO too). The biggest threat for him here is playing a ZvT against players such as INno, MMA, or TaeJa.
plz no incontrol, do people really value his style of casting? Too many times during homestorycup i had my head it my hands with the stupid stuff he was saying. Incontrol is the kind of guy id gravitate to in a room usually, hes straight forward and you know what your getting with him. but please incontrol stop super geeking it all up and trying to make comedy before during and after every sentence. There is no need to swear and or innuendo it. Stop with all that rootin tootin crap. kind of sounds like ur actually uncomfortable with the situation your in so mocking the whole thing. Soz man. it is all cool tho cos there is a volume control on my speakers, it just kind of ruins my overall experience and by the end im barely watching it at all this weekend i found . . dont make me stop watching sc plz!

While you are entitled to your opinion, I disagree and consider Incontrol a top tier caster. He's especially good at HSC-style tournaments.

people already had this debate when he wasn't involved at blizzcon. If you don't like it you don't have to watch him. please shut up.
I think he is a great caster and obviously enough people agree with me.

One single caster is enough to make you stop watching SC2?
I cant stand certain Hosts, Caster and Translator. But this doesnt make me watch the game less. I would just like to see more Events like HSC, where every game is castet by so many casters from different nations. DH usually does not allow different caster then their main caster for the rounds of 8 and furhter. I really hate that.

Incontrol is fucking hilarious and a great personality to have at events. I really enjoy his presence at tournaments.
My only criticism is that sometimes he's not professional enough and at Blizzard events they kind of need to be a bit more professional than at other events, such as HSC and Dreamhack.
Also what's with the Tasteless hate? And why no Tastosis? I'd much rather have that then Tasteless as the panel host like at Blizzcon.

People can have a different opinion.
If you have the same debate over and over it gets tiresome,

I haven't seen any hate, just opinions that people don't necessarily like his casting/hosting.

Hate = anything negative at all about someone. didn't you know that?
I love that the analysts desk is becoming a thing in SC as well. It just fits for big tournaments like that (HSC being the exception of course, no way you'd get that in there).

You don't really need the analyst desk for hsc because so many times you get the players casting and they do a phenomenal job!

Agreed, I was figuring more like 3 caster-casters and 3 player-casters - Maybe Apollo, Artosis, inControl, ToD, Bunny and Ret or something. (Couldn't think of any EU player-casters other than ToD who weren't toss )
It's always always always the fucking same guys all year long. I mean, I like all of them, but I wish tournaments wouldn't be so conservative in their caster choices.
Each one of these 5, I saw then either at Blizzcon or either at HSC (and sometimes both!)

Yeah, that's why. You get such amazing analysis anyway with the players.
I think it's silly when people bring up "professionalism" concerns with my casting. HSC is a special brand of a show.. it's a party with a tourney going on. We are encouraged and in fact invited TO BE silly and loose. Is it appropriate to be that way at DH? Nope.. but even they are MORE loose/"unprofessional" than other tourneys. A lot less so than HSC but still more than a blizzcon, IEM or MLG event. I happen to be a good fit for those scenarios but please try and not talk about me like some kind of pre-programmed robot incapable of adapting to the job at hand. I will crack jokes at DHW and we will have a good time but I won't be anywhere near as silly as I was at HSC.

must be really frustrating, dude. i too find it strange when people treat casters as commodities that are part of their viewing experience rather than human beings watching and enjoying SC. i understand that it's an industry and you ARE commodities in a way but when we get comments like how miniraser needs to shut up and stop making jokes or that someone is too boring or too unprofessional or whatever it reminds me of the dude in line at the grocery store who treats the cashier like shit just because they're paid to provide a service
i'm someone who criticizes or dislikes casters sometimes, hell i've even taken jabs at your casting before, but at the end of the day you have to have enough perspective to say that the people casting are just doing their best to have a good time and put on a decent show. it's one thing to say a cast isn't your cup of tea or you disagree with the analysis but some people take to a really absurd place where they feel entitled to dictate how a person talks and acts and tell you to quit your job and get out of esports if they don't approve of you
and complaining about HSC of all tournaments for "professionalism" is just stupid. i can't comprehend why someone who insists upon professional casting would even watch HSC?

I'll admit, I'm not much of a moonglade fan. But how can you not like Nate, he's just great.
At first, I felt like he was a watered down mrbitter, just not as good which feels bland. But after listening to him for so long, he's definitely got a distinct style that took me time to appreciate and differentiate. It's a a lot more subtle and less in your face compared to incontrol or Tod whose styles are easy to discern almost immediately and by extension easy to judge for yourself if you like it or not.

ugh
i mean i don't want to give you the attention you so desperately crave.
but he literally just posted he adapts based on the event in question. At HSC he isn't overly professional because that isn't what it calls for. At dreamhack a more professional event he will be more professional.
