Definitely, they don't really have anyone that can take on Eiki. Maybe MC if he gambles a correct BO I suppose.

yeap, the korean line up ("elected" by the community) is the proof democratie does not always bring the best results
Difficult to organiz a better system, but the voting method was not perfect, with terrans vote for example splitting between Bogus, MMA, MKP, Polt, Maru... Or some guys voting for personality, other for skills... I guess very very few people will consider MC, JD and Life their dream line up...

Well, I believe Korea got this, but they should watch against snute especially, I think he has potential to multi-kill these guys. If Norway manages an upset it would be because of him.

Well Norway might have a chance TBH.. They didn't get any of the nasty ones (read Terran).. Just some of the more notable ones

We might get too much ZvZzzzzz-ed though, but still - JD, Life, MC - that's a good spot (of Koreigners :D)
Another world, another place, another universe, won the race.. :) ;) :P

According to TLPD, Snute is 6-11 against JD, 0-2 against Life and 0-2 against MC in HotS. Even without the revives, this would be one hell of an uphill battle, but with them? Next to impossible.

Oh well, maybe Norway will get lucky and Eiki will cheese the crap out of JD and/or Life.

Yeah, I think he will only manage to damage a stalker if they play with one hand and mouse only

That's a great idea actually. If the koreans agree not to use the keyboard at all, we might have a good game to watch.

With the right build, any of the Norwegians could beat Jaedong, and possibly even MC. But I can't see them taking out Life even once, let alone twice.

Can't tell if trolling or being serious. Snute is perfectly capable of beating MC and Jaedong (Life is harder though), and he have.

Edit: messed up quoting

Hello TL !
I read lot of post asking why no Terran in Korea Team .

I would remind you that in Nation Wars , all come from you , the public !

It is something very important for O'Gaming TV , players are voted by you , on a democratic way.
The Vote for Korea team has been closed during the Final in 'Le Trianon' , this summer.

As a reminder here are the top 5 voted by you .

I hope it answers, and you will enjoy that showmatch !

mmmm maybe barely, but it's easy to underestimate the deepness of skills in Proleague (where Life didn't shine... and Life was not shining in code S either, sorry in code A, where he finished last of his ro48 group... )
There is a lot of super good player to fit in a top 20 :
Maru, Flash, Bomber, Polt, Innovation, MMA, Cure, Taeja, TY
Soo, True, Solar, Sacsri, Byul, Rogue
Zest, Rain, Hero, Dear, SoS, Stats, Classic, San, Parting, already 24...
and there is still some more 20 guys who have a chance against Life in a BoX, like Hyun, Yoda, Trap, Sorry, Stardust, First, CJ Bunny, Jjaki, Pigbaby, Bbyong, Gumiho, Creator, Stork, DRG, Leenock, Paralyze, Avenge, Hush or even Sen

I think Team Norway will have to do some ancient prayers to call upon the einherjar spirits of Valhalla if they want to have any chance of winning, because otherwise they look like they're gonna be taking the express train to defeat.

mmmm maybe barely, but it's easy to underestimate the deepness of skills in Proleague (where Life didn't shine... and Life was not shining in code S either, sorry in code A, where he finished last of his ro48 group...

SoO is surely the top 2.

So it's Snute vs The Dong, Life and Bosstoss? Am I seeing this correctly?

Sorry I forgot that tournaments from a month ago don't count. Did you not watch IEM Toronto? Not top 20 wtf dude come on.

If you think all of TRUE, Sacsri, Byul, Rogue, sOs, Classic, Parting, Hyun, Yoda, Sorry, Stardust, First (get real), jjakji, Pigbaby, Bunny, Gumiho, Creator, DRG, Leenock, Avenge, Hush or Sen have a realistic shot at regularly beating Life you need to watch Starcraft more than once a year.

I don't see Norway winning this considering how good Life's ZvZ is...my best case prediction for Norway would be like

Jeadong > Targa
Jaedong > Eiki
Jeadong < Snute
MC < Snute
Life > Snute

In the somewhat unlikely case that Snute pulls it out to beat two strong Koreans.

How is that unlikely? He has proven that he is able to beat really strong Koreans, arguably stronger than MC and JD (Life is probably on another level though)

Not only that, but Life has a very solid record against Snute after IPL5 (which was forever ago in another game). I think something like 6-1 or 7-1.

For most of the guys you quote, I wrote "have a chance against life", not "regularly beating Life" (I am not saying Life is the 41th player in the world). Life is probably my favorite zerg, but I will not bet on him finishing top 8 next GSL.

Every player on that list has a chance against every player on that list, in that case =/

I want to predict Eiki all killing Korea, but if to many do that it won't happen ... sigh.

It's not that, it's just that people happen to really like MC, JD and Life a lot. More than any Terran, at least. The Norway team doesn't have any Terrans in it as well, if you'd notice.
