LS probably knows through Scarlett if he's right. And it makes sense that they'd pick up another good player to make up for the loss of Innovation. Kind of weird of him to make hints like this though, considering he doesn't even watch starcraft anymore. I guess he likes the attention. I wonder where he'll go and practice then, I'm sure many teams would want him as a practice partner. Interesting to see INnoVation and him want different things at this stage of their careers. But then Inno said in that TL interview last year he didn't care about foreign tournaments that much. Maybe it's a "grass is always greener" thing. Inno looks to kespa and thinks it's better and parting looks to the foreign scene and thinks it better. The only occasion when PartinG thinks something is better is when he looks in a mirror tho.
Exactly. It should look something like this though.

In my opinion PartinG doesn't fit into a foreign team at all and he should not go there since it won't benefit his results. There are only few Koreans - Polt, Tajea and Hyun - who maintained their skill even after switching to the foreign scene. Everyone else was not able to compete with the best players sooner or later. And I am pretty sure PartinG knows this. Which leads me to the conclusion that PartinG might be pulling out of the SC 2 scene in foreseeable future.

8284k per month for 8 months, it's big enough equivalent to winning a few tourneys. However since he probably never win any these days, they couldn't offer him similar package. Kespa teams probably has higher expectation for the players, you dont win any tourneys, we'll cut your salary off.
Even though he did well enough in proleague.

The main difference is being able to play in Korean server. Which people like Polt, Violet, Mc, Stardust, Jjakji can't do. On the other hand Innovation, Taeja and Jaedong live in Korea, so they are able to do so. Inno and Taeja still keep up to their standard. The other 'foreigner' koreans don't seem strong enough these days.
If Parting joined foreign team, but still live in korea, then he can maintain his skill and even stay at GSL like Inno did. The only thing he missed is proleague.
I think Parting has always been an interesting character that adds nicely to the whole Korean sc2 scene. GSL and proleague would be less interesting without him.

Well GSL and other major tournaments, be it local or abroad. His last major win was RBG new york against SoS, and 2nd place at 2014 GSL Global Championship losing to Zest. That was end of 2013 and beginning of 2014. Since then he never won anything and if i'm not mistaken he couldn't past Ro16 on GSL in 2014.
So his result was probably not good enough in 2014 to SKT eyes.

Yeah well but I don't think SKT cares particulary much about PartinG's performance outside of Korea, considering the fact that they barely ever send any of their players.

Probably they don't care as much, but still it adds value to any players to win any major tournaments. It shows the player still a champion material.

Because I don't see any team capable of supporting such star player. Even though he is known abroad, plays very nice style to watch and is an entertainer
