do you know how much it costs to book the finals venue for 3 days straight?

you can never count out KT's Zergs during the playoffs.

Should have just done it on studio then I want hype and good games, not a pretty place on the beach.
SKT's lineup is no surprise, I'm a little surprised to see Sleep coming out for KT instead of MyuNgSiK, as Sleep really did not look great against Jin Air. Very hard to predict especially with three of the matches being mirror matches. I feel like looking at the matchups SKT has the edge but I also felt that for Jin Air in their Match 3 against KT...

I would think it's more than just costs: they want to have the finals be a single event, it's more marketable that way. Last season's final was also a Bo1 though the rest of the playoffs were Bo3 and last season the finals were just at the Proleague studios, weren't they?

The finals deserves an atmosphere of the finals don't you think.

Could at least have been an all kill format.
noooo, all the stars deserve to come out for the finals.
Whoever wins the PartinG (60.32%)1–0 Flash (0–1) (39.68%) match is the epitome of the finals. And all of you knows by head and heart that Parting is the best PvTer in Proleague and in the world. He's even better than Rain in PvT. Flash has improved his PvT but he has never shown scary game against Parting. When was the last time Flash won against Parting?
Zest, Action, and TY have the most favorable matchups for KT. If KT can get TY to play his set, an ace match is likely. Flash and Stats have brutal opponents to start off the series against.

4-2 SKT
While that will be the most fun to watch, I think the actual most pivotal matches will be the two ZvZs. This looks so bad for KT that they'll really need to win the sideshows to have any chance of snagging victory with a good ace match performance.
LOL at all the people thinking TY or Flash for an ace match you do realize Zest plays on KT right he will be ace until he shows some serious digression and I'm a Zerg player who utterly hates him but still I respect him that being said go Soulkey, Soo, and Dark do me proud and LET'S GOOOO SKT1

your wrong dude, according to Aligulac PartinG's PvT is 64.54% but Rain's is 69.10%, so, no Rain is the better PvTer, (BUT, Rain is weaker then PartinG in PvP, PartinG is 64.94%, but Rain is 61.93%) Overall Rain has the higher Win-rate compared to PartinG, Rain at 65.67%, while PartinG is at 62.54% (IN ALL MATCHUPS--> vT/vP/vZ). And also for Flash its TvP, not PvT
I'de be happy to see Flash's tears just like the last BW proleague. If it goes to ace match, probably Rain vs Flash and we could see a repeat of those facepalming and tears of being defeated twice.

I don't mind flash losing, but not at the cost of KT.
Does everyone remember the last time these teams met in the Proleague finals?
Fantasy beat Flash in one of the best and most memorable TvTs ever and then Bisu took down Flash in the Ace match using a forward gateway. I still remember Bisu's zealots pushing right up to Flash's base and then Flash pushing Bisu right back to his first forward gateway before Bisu somehow winning. That was truly a finals for the ages.
But it's a new age. God has lost his divinity, the Revolutionist is dead, and the Vulture Terrorist has misplaced his vultures.
I don't know who I want to win. The only real interest I have in SC2 is the players I loved from Brood War so I'll be cheering for Flash, Baby, and Fantasy in the Ace match. I know it'd be more surprising than the Spanish Inquisition but my fingers are crossed all the same.

Also, does anyone of you guys think that the fact this is a final, held in an uncommon place with probably way more people attending can affect some players ? I mean obviously FlaSh and the oldies will be used to this, but a younger player like Parting for example, who doesn't have all that ProLeague experience (even though he has lots of other tournament experience), could he be affected you think ?

Action was KT's best player in R4 ahaha
Not to mention that Action has a fabulous ZvZ record.
If Stats doesn't pull an "upset" again, T1 should take it. Getting that lucky with sniping Flash with PartinG and pulling up Rain against Zest is just sick. Let's go, T1! <3
"And the prophet spake, saying 'Whence the Lord thy God Flash hath revealed himself upon the island, his host became inspired, and triumphed over their enemies. The usurpers fled in disorder, and there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. Thusly were the other tribes of ProLeague brought into submission.' " -Book of Jobbers 3:15
I shall make burnt offerings in preparation for His ascendance.

I don't see it being an issue, at least for parting. He won wcs 2012 which if I'm not mistaken was in front of a blizzcon crowd, no?
Such good lineups for both teams. I want to say flash will pull through, zest/stats are no joke. and TY has been impressive lately. I'm rooting for KT but not betting anything
This is the most likely I think. Of those 4, I'd say Stats has the highest chance of defeating his oppenent, but Zest vs Rain and TY vs Classic are the only matchups I don't see favoring SKT

Don't worry they play Crowd Simulator 2014 over at the SKT team house
