It needs an offical translation, but it looks like startale WILL be participating in the next season of proleague and is currently looking for new players to bolster their lineup. Side note: as a huge startale fan, this is a big move that makes me so happy

If you're not getting picked up by a foreign team, it seems unlikely that the average Korean pro would be able to go overseas for international tournaments. So at least until another team shows interest, wouldn't going to ST be pretty much the best option? Take Dear or Symbol for example. Unless they have other teams lining up, ST is better than no team for multiple reasons, and I don't really see a bad side to this. Hopefully the pros see this the same way and ST will win the 2014-2015 Proleague finals 4-3 over CJ Entus  | ||

Not to poop on anyone's party, but by google translating the article, it says "rookie" several times. So i don't know if they are planning on picking up big names. I think they just might be fostering new talent instead. actually this sounds even more awesome.. brand new rookies into the sc2 scene... that's what sc2 needs right now! :D | ||

A few months ago I was afraid StarTale's gonna disband and IM's gonna stand strong; seems to be the other way round. They used to have a rookie draft for BW right? I wonder if that would be a good thing for SC2? I mean, any player that ST develops will get a better contract at one of the 5 brand name teams. So the brand name teams get the hype, so they get the sponsors, so they get the dollars, so they get to poach promising rookies. Or was it always like that? | ||

Prime was basically a shitty amateur clan trying to compete with professional teams. Players like Terror, Kassia, Departure couldn't even have made a debut in proleague if they were on other 'pro' teams. Look how they used Creator who should've been a PvP sniper rather than being dragged out to every ace match (if Prime somehow made it ) hoping for opponent team to send a protoss. Their roster got slightly better after MKP returned from retirement. but even MKP couldn't save Prime from being the worst team in proleague. | ||

And then KeSPA should re-make an 8th team to round out the SPL lineup =D There are still decent free agents out there: I'm sure not EVERYONE on "old" MVP hated playing in SPL, JYP and Arthur just became teamless, SuperNova is probably still in Korea and may be available for a partnership, Trap is teamless and could be an ace for a new team, etc. | ||
