INno and MMA <3 excellent tournament coming up

group 2 looks a bit more balanced than rest of it
|
Zest like the new representative of KT . No moar Flash
|
Those are some sick groups. Gl illusion. Hope Snute makes it through!
|
sick groups, sick lineup.
in the end, however, a protoss will win. my bet is on zest or san.
|
Taeja and Stork woooooot!

I hope Maru plays in the open bracket, else he probably won't be at blizzcon
Wish they had invited him tho

Then a few months later Dear vs soO is a GSL final.

wow if Polt could go, that Group 1 would have been Zest, Polt, San +Open player?

I can confirm that both Sen and Has will be in the open brackets for sure. I have spoken with both of them in person and they have both confirmed with me verbally that they will be present on the ground.
|
If you love Starcraft, if you love e-sports, you have to hope stork gets a premier tournament win in Sc2 before he retires.

He probably wont in an interview he said that travelling is harsh on a 17 year old and kind of says although not with these words that he will start attending more tourneys once hes older
|
wow.. how did the invites go all the way down to Stork at rank 60? Maru of all people need this invite most.
|
Anyone else notice that Solar is signed up for both DH Valencia and IEM? Wtf...

If that's the case, then I'm not sure why he bothered to play in the qualifier.

finaly some good tourneys again, after the whole wcs shebang is finished.

Well perhaps he felt that declining the invitation was rude? I mean he seems to be very respectful, and he did bomb out 0-4 in the qualifier, so wouldnt be surprising if he threw it? Although this is extremely unlikely.

At this rate, HerO won't be going to WCS Global Finals I'm cheering for Taeja and Jaedong!!
|
This will be a good tournament for Jaedong to prove himself and I can't wait to see what Innovation can do

HerO can still make it if he gets a good semi final result for Season 3 and if Pigbaby lose at the ro32.

I think they're taking into account PL performance too. Maru did well as usual, but Stork is the MVP of round 3.

|
nice line up but if its gonna be korean protoss domination then im gonna watch the hearthstone competition
|
I really wanted to see Polt amongst these players... sigh....
|
Zest is gonna win this since no one close to him is attending it seems.
|

Stork earned a spot in a premier tournament, he carried his team through rouund 3 of proleague, had a good year in PL overall, and missed out on top 8 GSL by a game
|

about that
why arent Koreans dominating Hearthstone?
or are they? (i dont pay much attention to the HS tournament scene lol...)

Because it's a card game
|
OMG that lineup is so insanely stacked with talent. This is like my dream tournament, Jaedong, Taeja, Zest, Inno, San and Stork!? Only really missing Bomber or Maru. Also got some foreign hopes sprinkled in there, amazing.
|
Kind of funny - both NA players are seen, to a certain extent, as single-matchup specialists. And both of them got 2 of the race they "specialize" in for their group.

Hearthstone tournament money isn't large enough yet to really get some significant international competition. We haven't had the chance to see how the Koreans really stack up.

Ironman will get out of that group, JD will not

That and Koreans don't care about TCG's, for reference there has not been a single top 8 Korean finish in MTG, where as there's been 4 wins and 18 top 8's for Japan and 3 wins 39 top 8's for USA.

They again invited someone explicitly against their inviting criteria? I thought after Flashs undeserved invite last year they learned not to do that. Very disappointed now.

Is there any way we can watch the VODs of qualifications ? A link would be much appreciated ^^

Groups 1,2,3 & 4 are groups of death!
|
Sick Line-Up.. cheering for Jaedong and INnoVation. If it has to be a Protoss again, I hope at least Zest or Stork. But I hope not.
|
Hopefully Taeja gets KO'd by the Kespa players and his fanboys finally can it.
|
Definitely watching this over DH. Can Taeja claim another title?

Rooting so hard for the God of Zerg: Jaedong!

Yea, I noe . . I just feel Zest look like the Ace player, or represent KT now. Flash didnt have that much live tourney to play . .

Sounds like a sick open bracket...less it's just Mvp in there xD
he would account for most of those wins with his amazing record.

Just realised it's technically 7 GSL Championships if we include Blizzard cups.

such hype! amazing players in open bracket like TRUE! lets see if he can play in weekend format type of tournament, but most importantly gogo snute!

hmm, some solid names here. Kind of disappointing we don't have more uncommon foreign tournament faces though :/
==
So going by that twitter post. All 7 gsl championships are accounted for in that player list.
As for other 14 Premieres..
Life has 5, HerO 5, Revival 1 = 11.
If there's only 1 spot left..it's someone who has won 3 premieres. Who could it be :o

Combination of my maths + liquipedia being wrong :D
Life = 7 incl 2 GSL HerO = 5 Nestea = 3 all GSL Revival = 1 jjakji = 1 all GSL Seed = 1 all GSL
18 with 7 GSL
