We all know rivalries like the one between the SKT1 and KT_Rolster.
But what's just as interesting is that there are some series where one player is just destined to beat that other player most of the time (Proleague matches don't have as much weight).
Here's a few: (I will upload some descriptions soon)
Soulkey > Maru
Maru > Flash
PartinG > Flash
Rain > HerO
soO > PartinG
Soulkey > PartinG
The Oldies but the Goodies:
MC > IdrA
Mvp > MarineKing
Got any more? Post, so we can have an encyclopedia of SC2 Dominations!

JD has a really nice record against Taeja, and HuK has a nice record against HerO. Innovation vs Soulkey
Also Innovation vs Teamleagues.

soulkey my padawan the almighty super korean!
|
marineking > leenock? also polt > qxc
|
Shine > Soulkey, if I recall correctly, between BW and SC2 Shine has never lost to Soulkey in the 7~8 matches they played.
|
I just looked one up that I wasn't sure about hyun > bly bly lost to him the past 16 times

The most famous one of these is perhaps the great GSL 2011 Terran Triad, where MMA > Mvp > Polt > MMA, etc, etc.
People don't think of it, but even when the two were the two best SC2 players in the world, Mvp generally owned NesTea. They encountered each other multiple times in 2011 and I think Mvp won practically every time.

TaeJa > Life , they met often in 2013 and I think Life never won

Shine 8-0 Soulkey so far I believe.

You should add
MMA > MVP
MVP > Polt
Polt > MMA
The holy triforce of Gomtvt ;O
Maybe even
SlayerS vs Zerg Or maybe SlayerS vs Idra

But Life 3-0ed TaeJa when he won his GSL championship in 2012... I think in the semifinals?
I seem to recall that until HyuN beat TaeJa in the last WCS AM season, TaeJa had some kind of crazy record over HyuN, maybe 8-0 or something like that.

This has evened out in recent days, but back in 2010/early 2011, when MC was one of the top players in the world, Polt was his bane. He just owned MC like he was in Diamond. I still remember their very first series in GSL 2010 Open Season 1 when MC was #1 on the Korean ladder and Polt 2-0ed him. In the second game on Metalopolis, Polt waited until MC left his base for a 2-base colossus timing then dropped/ran marauders into both bases, sniped both Nexii, then obliterated MC's push with a viking flank.
That game made me a lifelong Polt fan.

this one is the best by far. it's so random, so consistent, so brutal.

I cannot believe it took so long for that one to come up!

This thread would be more awesome if you linked to TLPD or Aligulac which shows their history, or at least give their historical win/loss vs each other.

Snute is +23 against BabyKnight, though that's mainly due to the Bo69 show match that they had almost two years ago.
