It saddens me a bit though, that an incredible run as the one shown yesterday, will be remembered mostly from a lategame ZvP. For me, Snutes most impressive gameplay is apparant during multitasking ZvT. The games vs Jjakji for example, is an excellent example of brilliant Starcraft; the way it was meant to be played. Couple this with Snute's insane ZvZ, and we're looking at one of the most promising players in the scene :D

LOL. Are you serious? That has to be the stupiest thing I have ever read? Major isnt even the best player in NA atm and has zero results. I'll bet you where one of the guys that actually ment DeMusliM was the foreigner when he was "dominating" the NA ladder. In terms of results and stability noone is near Snute atm. He is the guy that goes head to head with the koreans in every single tournament, and wins again and again. "Maybe" in terms of skill some players are close but where are their tournament winnings? User was temp banned for this post.

Sometimes I look at these qualifiers and kind of feel bad, though, cause the quality of Snute's play and the amount of monsters he fought through could've won him a Dreamhack or an IEM straight up. Instead he just qualifies to go to China, which is wonderful, but I feel like a run like that one deserves a trophy.

If Artosis can say Innovation is the best in the world in an era where he doesn't even show tournament winnings, I think we can settle on Snute as the best foreigner at this moment.

Im srsly thinking about going for this IEM now!! MMA did not doing very well in offline events in China tho, SW7 in early 2012 was the beginning of his long term slump and I believe he went for another two IEM in China but both fell badly... edit:typo

vs. First... those were seriously close and impressive games. Lets not forget that he also completely steam rolled MC 2-0 which is also no small feat
