 Roccat_HyuN's run of success in 2014 continued as he took first place in the online Fragbite Masters Spring to claim the first place prize of 80,000 SEK (approximately $12,200 dollars). It was his third major tournament win of the year after Copenhagen Games and WCS America Season 1, bringing his total 2014 winnings up to just over $50,000 on the year.
The tournament also featured a strong showing from Spain's mouz.VortiX, who defeated players like MC, Solar, Happy, and KangHo on his way to the finals. In the end, HyuN proved to be too tall a hurdle to overcome, and VortiX fell 0-4 in the grand finals. Combined with his win in the Vasacast Invitational, VortiX has been showing excellent form in major online tournaments this year.
The teamless KangHo (aka Losira) finished in third, while Samsung Galaxy KHAN's Solar came in fourth.

Aww man, VortiX was looking so good up until then, taking out some great players. But congrats to HyuN regardless, he has been playing great lately and totally deserves it with a 4-0. His ZvZ seems pretty powerful right now, at least aside from against Snute for some reason, haha.

This tournament really turned into a zvz fest in spite of having a balanced line-up. I hope it isn't a prophecy of how things will come to be in SC2 the next few months.

Although Hyun deserves every win he gets since he's a badass.

Just to clarify, I don't think zerg is overpowered, but neither is protoss. Obviously, terran is the odd one out since both protoss and zerg are doing well.

Congrats to HyuN! He showed a really good level in this tournament.
VortiX also displayed an amazing performance, gj to him too. I just noticed that at the end of this month his contract with mouz will expire. I wonder if mouz will let him go as they did with Dear... VortiX is one of the best foreigners right now, if not the very best. I don't know if mouz can afford to have him anymore, maybe its time for VortiX to jump into a bigger team?

So dumb Craziest apm in the world and teamless. You can see how much faster he is than anyone when he plays too. One of my fave players and I'd support any team he joined. Always loved his 6 queen opening vs terran.
Also I love Hyun so much. Hyun, Symbol, Losira, Leenock, TRUE are the most fun Korean zergs to watch :D

actually most people have been talking about zerg being strong, protoss being still strong but less so, and terran being very weak

Actually, I'd say P is pretty balanced right now.
TvZ looks to be the problematic one (balancewise) and ZvZ (boringwise :p )
