He was one of my favorite protosses since SC2 was released. The game has changed much and he is past his prime, but his legacy will leave on. He was the first protoss who could play reactive macro games against any opponent.

Sad thing for sure, but nobody should be surprised. It's been a long steady decline in skill (or rather lack of improving along with the rest of the field) and a 0-3 against Krrr was the last nail in the coffin.

My first thought when he was down 0-2 vs Krr was that he was going to retire. I wish I was wrong but it was really obvious that he didn't care anymore.

Well it was a long time coming. He didn't practice a lot, as he said in the interviews and was flirting with retirement many times. And now he got fucked by his teams three times (slayers, azubu, LYGF) so I get that he feels that it's time to go. Still sad.
