Pardon my retalliation for moderators declining me providing an English service for an event that previously had no English stream.
...wrong thread?

Great so far, I advise everyone to close twitch chat

In the middle of the work day. This is unfortunate.

Thought this was a really well done documentary.

Also missed this due to being stuck at work If I understand Brya's post from the earlier page correctly, they're going to loop the film a few more times today? Is it still going to be running later tonight?
|
Wow, if you use their discount code "TWITCH" (without quotations) it's only $2.50!!! Totally worth it :D
|
As a few people said, the film is going to loop on the channel for a bit, though it hasn't started again yet (they're working on it right this second) and you can also buy it right now for only $2.50 if you use the code TWITCH to download it from VHX before March 1st at midnight EDT.

Was pretty awesome! Definitely suggest checking out the rebroadcast if you missed it / parts of it. As a few people already said the discount code is TWITCH and you get a hi-res copy if you want to own it yourself and watch/show it after today.

It was pretty good. Definitely very dated in terms of content and players etc. But an explanation of and a look into the life of progamers was mapped out very well for someone who might not know about the industry.
My only gripe with the film was that it seemed very random. Many of the scenes and sequences that the film took felt piecemeal and sort of slapped together, and there was no real feel of progression or significance to some of the things they were saying. Context was low and it just seemed like a look at the business side of EG more than the actual team and performance of players.

Wow just finished watching it, that was so good! :D I cried a little during some parts reliving memories or the golden age of SC2 :'(

I actually enjoyed it being so dated, gives you a very clear reminder of what SC2 was at that stage in its development and indeed the kind of hopes and aspirations so many in the scene had regarding it at the time, and with the hindsight of knowing which of them occurred and didn't. Quite eerie really!

That intro provided the luls.
From 2011 - "I'm in esports because I love the competiton, I like beating people"
To 2013 - "You're all fucks"
Surprised they put that in there.

it started off strong, but got boring after 20 or so minutes. Definetely better done then Sons of starcraft
