Today, mYinsanity is pleased to announce our newest acquisition to the mYinsanity Starcraft 2 Division, Jung “Balloon” Woo Joon! Balloon, formerly a Protoss of StarTale and a Code A competitor, announced his retirement from full time StarCraft in November to pursue studies, but has continued to play a great deal and has since switched to Random. Balloon will be studying in America as of next semester, and has been looking for a foreign team, finally settling on mYinsanity. As he is prioritizing his studies, we won’t be seeing him participate in as many offline events as teammates StarDust or Jjakji, but we are confident that Balloon will prove his worth both in WCS AM as well as team leagues.

I don't know balloon at all before this announcement, but I'll cheer for him because he plays the real man's race: random!

His stream was really nice to watch in the last couple of days, and if he can focus on playing til august he should be able to qualify for WCS AM.
He will be the second Polt, just in random. :D

Balloon and Caliber in that WCS NA qualifier. I want them to meet for the sake of RvR, but at the same time, I don't want them to meet because I want them to both qualify.

Hmm I'm surprised he doesn't pick a race, or at least pick races based on matchups. We'll see if the "random advantage" helps or hurts him. In any case grats to both parties on the pickup!

I love all the old star tale players come back and get teams. Seems like they all speak very good English. Random at a high level is sexy. I hope he stays Random and he shows some amazing and interesting WCS games.
