Code S Quarterfinal Brackets Rain and PartinG advancing out of the final Ro16 group, the brackets for the Code S quarterfinals have been determined.![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/staff/Waxangel/GSL/S1_2014/ro8bracket_1.png) The first pair of semi-final matches, sOs vs. Zest and Rain vs. herO, will be played on March 19th.The second pair of matches,  Life vs.  Maru and PartinG vs. soO, will be played on March 21st.

It used to be pretty shitty in WoL and now people won't watch it because of those memories. But the games today were really diverse and awesome. And of course, PartinG played like a god. | ||

The irony is, the two greatest games of the night (and probably of the year so far) were from supposed BO losses... that turned into godlike play, into wins. The other stellar game of the night was a huge macro game with a sick enagement/battle to cap it off. So the best 3 games of the night (which is where most of the praise of tonights games are coming from) weren't build order wins at all. | ||

Not really. And in a few games the "bo loss" player actually won. Rain vs. the cannon rush (perfect reaction), PartinG vs. the unscouted proxy double gates and vs. the DT rush (again perfect reaction). Not to mention G1 Rain vs. Parting that looked like a total BO loss for Parting and transitioned into a really sick macro game. | ||

Maru vs. Life is a cool matchup with good storylines PartinG vs. soO rematch of last GSL quarterfinals (please win this time Parting ~~) And then PartinG vs. Maru would have potential to be an amazing match while PartinG vs. Life would be the renewal of a great rivalry. | ||

sOs, Life and herO basically will get no time for prepare, especially sOs and herO, so Zest and Rain can easily tryhard since next day to find cure against them (oh, it means that IM will win against CJ, haha). But if PartinG wins against soO this time, i definitely see him winning his first GSL title. His PvT is hardly contested, PvPartinG is op and if Life advances, choo choo will save the day anyway. If sOs can win against Zest, then he will definitely be another contender but if Rain is going to play whole PvP half of bracket like he did tonight - oh dude. | ||
