Ret did some pretty solid casting last tournament, so I'm really looking forward to this. As weird as it sounds most of the 'well-known' dutch people in the SC2 scene (which are just a few) are also pretty decent at commentating (;-) Waxangel). Rotterdam (obviously), Grubby, Ret, Harstem :-)
It's interesting that we're getting more and more commentators who are actual or former pro players. I suppose it was pretty inevitable, and I can't say I'm not happy to have more high level analysis enter the fray.

Having pros cast is such a good move. They pick up on things most casters don't see - the sort of fine details you only really get after playiung the game for 6+ hours a day for years.
And Ret is one of the best (yeah fanboy here). Articulate dude with a brain.
Pretty severe lack of solid play-by-play in that lineup outside Kaelaris, which is unfortunate considering it could be the biggest SC2 event of the year. Would have liked to see Nathanias there at least. Excellent selection of analysts.
one thing im sad about is getting older. Id love to be there for the full time, but since i have to work, i might only be able to get there for weekend.

It's true. I think Incontrol doubles fairly well but there are a ton of good analysts. Should have had the legendary Inconbiscuit duo. Damn your names are hard to mash up. Totalcontrol?
I want idra casting WCS america with rotterdam, make it happen.. Make him an offer he cant refuse, it will be worth it viewer wise and hype wise. And trust me, it will be veryyyy entertaining.
About this thread, looking forward to some artosis+incontrol games.
Looking like a good line-up. But let's drop the caster talk and focus on the players from now on.
(It's nice that the caster celebrity hype seems to have died down a little compared to, say, year ago. Then 75% of discussion on Reddit and TL was 'who likes/hates this/that caster,' whereas now the focus is more on games, players and strategy. A positive change imo.)

You should have been there, honestly. I miss your casting!

Looking forward to the event!
lolololol
your hate fuels my fire brosef!
I don't hate you, I appreciate everything you do for this community, but personally I'm not really enjoying your hosting and casting. But that's just me. If you feel like this is hate, go ahead and be fueled.
really Ret? they should had found a better caster and isnt this really bad for Ret's sc2 progaming image right now? ppl start to think that he was a patchzerg who had no success in Hots and might try a caster career now :/
Ok its a great line-up and Kaelollo is a good duo and are ESL employees so it makes sense but... I enjoy their cast at WCS Europe but... I think they are 2 great people with a lot of passion towards sc2 but... I just can't take it no more, too much Kaelollo.
Take ToD for example. I'm really happy to see him there precisely because he doesn't cast WCS Europe Ro 32. ToD + Ret + Incontrol is an awesome progamer trio, now what is missing is a QXC or an Idra with a good knowledge of terran. Or even better, a ThorZain.

Like most sports actually. I like it. More game knowledge = better casting.
How come we don't see Rotti or MrBitter!!! Ret and iNcontrol are not even casting any games nowadays. How come they got picked but not any of our NA WCS casters? This is unfair

Ret just casted an IEM (and there isn't a thing called WCS NA).
