Frankly I think MLG has realised that this community doesn't support NA talent enough for it to even remotely viable to execute a live NA only event. I don't blame them, it's a fools errand. The numbers speak for themselves on these events. If you want people to actually watch, you need to bring in the big popular players and right now, those are pretty much Koreans with a smattering of the top foreigners. Vast difference between having Americas only tournaments, and having every tournament be Americas only. Hell, I'm pretty sure they've hosted 3 in the last month and a half alone.
