Here you can see him landing a Grand Finals spot for KT back in 2011. Seems he was able to keep his shit together when it mattered.

Oh that's when i kind of stop following actively. I'll watch that tonight.

Sad to see him go to LoL, been a great coach for KT. Only weird choice this season was Zest in an ace match. Happy for HOT though.

wow~ love all the pics... truly a bw disciple~ love the KT coaches... especially when i saw nalra's old boy...

I haven't found the old thread (or was the news translated by a streamer during a broadcast?).
I remember those two switched positions during BW. KT had been performing poorly and coach Lee Ji Hoon was demoted to assistant coach for a while.
Anyway, this time it looks like they both got promoted (LoL is still more popular than SC2, right?)

Yes it is, and for the latter half of 2013 KT was the only team (in the world) that consistently was able to threaten SK Telecom. I'm sure they'd be willing to give a lot to dethrone them in the upcoming season, which might be a reason for the changes in the coaching department.

uh kt never won 3 proleague championships, just 2.

SKT LoL team too dominating right now so they need coach Lee to go full time LoL. Some former KT players(Nal_rA, Reach, Yellow) are active in the LoL scene too so he will be fine.

Have to admit that I haven't paid as much attention to the coaches as I should have, the first thing to my mind was this is a true blast from the past. Then I realize he's been there all that time already... Whoops

Don't know to much about the SC:BW scene, but good luck to him! Hope he is a fine coach
