With the sixth and final day of Challenger League done and in the books, the final roster for WCS Europe's Premier League has been confirmed. WCS Europe's Premier League will begin on February 18th.
Terrans are not weak. There is just less top-Terrans in the world than top-Zergs or top-Protosses, maybe because the mechanical of playing Terran is more difficult to control. The best Terrans are in NA and Europe...to win more money. Maybe because there are more smart ^^
-> 8 Koreans in PremierLeague this season. 8 Koreans during the last edition. What a change with the "region lock" !

17 koreans in WCS America?
hmmm I guess EU will have best chance of a foreigner winning Premier
scarlett has a higher chance of beating all the koreans in america than anyone in eu has to beat jjakji
There are at least 5 Europeans who can beat Jjakji.
Sorry but their is only 4 foreigner Terrans in WCS EU ^^

Same number of Korean but 3 of them actually leave in Europe (Jjakji, Stardust, ForGG) and at least 2 of them usually stay in Europe for a long time because of WCS EU (MC and MMA). That's very good for EU ladder.

Format is different with Challenger league players getting direct seeding into Premiere. If you count both leagues, last season of WCS EU had 14 Koreans.
Well well well. 8 Koreans; 4 of which are terran and 4 of which are protoss. Interesting that the Korean Zergs don't seem interested in EU.
It'd be interesting if all ro8s were Korean. Statistically unlikely, particular given group seedings they might knock each other out, but they probably are the strongest 8 players.

You mean 4terrans and 4protoss not zergs I think. And I don't agree that they are 8 strongest players, since there is naniwa, he's somehwere in between those 8 koreans.

You are correct, I meant 4T 4P. Too early in the morning for me.
Also, Naniwa is probably above Genius and ForGG to me, so I'd place him about 7th personally.

Golden is moving to the Alien Invasion team house in Europe so it's likely he'll qualify for Season 2. So we'd have a Korean Zerg then.

If NaNi plays like he can, i won't be surprised if we can see first foreigner winning something in HotS. If ofc Stardust is going to be eliminated somewhere before, or they will play offline and not online.
I expect a lot from Welmu and Grubby this season as well especially if they can advance to Ro16.
So, probably favourites are like San, jjakji, NaNiwa, MC and MMA. Then somewhere can be StarDust, Welmu, Grubby and Happy, and i hope that Mvp will show some brilliance from the past as well. Zergs are going to be slaughtered though lol.
NaNiwa will win WCS EU this season and end the foreign droubt!
Also I predict WCS EU to be by far the most boring region this year, way too many SwarmHost turtle zerg's for my liking. Those ToD - Miniraser games today were absolutely dreadful.

Considering there are more Koreans than foreigners in WCS America I would say that's a logical conclusion to make. Would be the same if EU had 15 Koreans. Hashtag math.

Yeah, Maru and innovation are the only championship caliber Koreans still in Korea, and I'm honest starting to wonder if we can still consider inno championship caliber the way he's looked lately. Taeja, Bomber, alive, MMA, Mvp, Polt, and jjakji: that's a LOT of the Terran powerhouses no longer in Korea

It's never really been disputed terran is the most difficult mechanically. So much so that I think it's a problem that should be addressed by next expansion or this game will die. Or make zerg/toss harder ? Terran only race that doesn't have instant units AND its hardest micro. hardest macro and micro isn't right.
Wow nightEnd finally in premier for the first time since WCS started. It helped, I'm sure, that protoss is powerful these days, but I bet what helped the most is the partial region lock. Not having to face Koreans in challenger helped a lot.
