And Jaedong challenges Flash... Ofc Jaedong will have 10 times better results coz he plays in the weak region and gets free invites everywhere.

And simply nobody really applied for the open bracket in Brazil, because paying flights there is really expensive, loads of people/attention was all at ASUS ROG and also visa issues.

I imagine their popularity will easily soar after only one foreign tourney or two. like someone said before, the likes of JD or HerO get all the luxuries. easy opponent, easy points, easy money, easy invitation to everything Fantasy or TY at a German event would make me cream my pants! Im happy with Inno and Polt though

If so, why not invite European players for the European tournament? The massive Korean dominance is so stupidly bad for the health of Sc2. More than SHs and gameplay-issues, the (nearly) Korean-only tournaments are what kills off interest in the game outside of the diehard TL crowd. IEM, please adapt. It is likely based on WCS 2013 points. Innovation (2) , JD (3), HerO (5), Dear (6). Polt was 4th but already in qualifiers and I guess Soulkey (1) didn't sign up for the open bracket.

50% of the invites in ASUS ROG were Korean. Four foreigners cancelled after the roster was released. 44% of the Open Bracket invites in IEM8 Cologne are Korean. Three foreigners cancelled after the roster was released. Both tournaments invite based on applications so of course it also depends on who applies for a spot. The cancellations don't necessarily correlate with the number of Koreans, but it's something to keep an eye on in other events this year.
