How insanely nerve-wracking must that have been each time. Holy crap.
"...but the players tied at 1-1 four times in a row. In the fifth go around, Paralyze was finally able to go 2-0 and take claim the prize."
On another note - Life v Maru finals would be amazing.
I think Maru is going to have twice as many people cheering for him as usual - I hope for the popularity of the tournament that he at least makes it to the semis.

Last year I predicted jaedong to win wcs season 2, season 3 and the grand finals. He came second instead so many times. This year I thin maru is gonna get second to jaedong. GOGOOGOG JAEDONG WHOOO

Sounds like a lot of fun with the four ties, too bad it wasn't streamed. Grats Paralyze.

First he wins GSL, then MKP retired, now he´s the Terran hope. Maru´s stock is going through the roof.
|
lmao 3 terrans, it's either all terrans or none.
game bestest balance

Im gonna forget for a moment that he is toss and say gratz to paralyze because that must have been a few tough hours for all involved and he managed to stay strong.

Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the later stages were overwhelmingly Zerg.
In any case...daaaaaamn 5 rounds of it at the end? That must have been a tough night.

It always seems like Paralyze gets into the Round 32 (or 36) and nothing further, ever since broodwar

also, where's BoxeR these days?

He made a deal with some poker business. Don't know if just celebrity face or serious player.

While I congratulate Paralyze to pass 6 rounds of head-to-head-to-head, that seemed like one helluva nerve-wracking experience for all three players involved. Imagine a finals between three players doing this, but with BoX above 1.

Great predictions, guys :D

Maru will fall in ro32 to Blink allin/oracle or will loose vs a zerg because that one brillantly picked deadalus.
Anyway I predict a zerg will win this GSL because in the final he will already begin with 1-0 because of deadalus point being broken vs zerg.

Afrotoss is cool, but 16 protosses and 13 zergs is disgusting. I wish more terrans would have qualified earlier.
