Hold on, even removing Snute from the equation, I still count 49 players total in WCS AM Challenger League. Is there a drop out I'm not aware of?
someone will be promoted to premier since Hack moved to GSL. It should be Bomber or TaeJa (Bomber having the highest WCS points).
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2014_WCS_Season_1_America/ChallengerGoing off this, even with that change there's still 49 O_o
If Bomber or TaeJa is promoted from Challenger to Premier, there will be 48 players in Challenger, and 8 players in Premier, which is as it should be I think.
(that list still includes Bomber/TaeJa, as NASL hasn't said anything about it yet) - if you go to premier, you will notice that there are only 7 players there.
NASL announces Taeja got the spot:
Hack, whom had competed in WCS America in 2013 and had earned a spot in Premier League for WCS America 2014 Season 1, has elected to switch regions and will be competing in Korea. As this left a vacancy in Premier League, TaeJa was promoted from Challenger to Premier League. This promotion was based off of points TaeJa earned in WCS America in 2013.
