The first WCS America qualifier for the American sub-region concluded with viOLet, d.SeleCT, deimos.Bails, and c.SaroVati earning spots in the Challenger League. Two more qualifiers remain for America, as well as qualifiers for South East Asia, Taiwan/HK/Macua, and a final "Ladder Wildcard" (regionless) qualifier. The Chinese qualifier had previously concluded, with Toodming, Courage, and XiGua qualifying from their sub-region.
The WCS 2014 system has changed the Challenger League drastically, with players who make it through the qualifier being matched up against one of the previous season's Premier League/Challenger players in a single best-of-five series to decide qualification for the new Premier League season. A detailed description of the new WCS system can be found here.
After all that effort to hide the brackets......theycjust announce the winners the next day and the broadcast that was supposed to be done via replays was done live.
Its a level of genius I don't unserstand bravo. Bravo.

Jim is in Challenger already, and MacSed is in Premier, so the two best tosses weren't in the qualifier.

Well I just enjoy the fact that NASL is doing an equally shitty job as MLG did after NASL shat all over MLG back then.
Gratz to Violet great to see him back (and I truly hope he makes it straight into premier) after almost an entire year of no competition for him. I still remember him from the first season of code s I watched (2011 july) and he has developed so much from being an ok Zerg on MVP.
And this time, viOlet won't get kicked out cause of visa issues! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Equally? Hah. More like 8x worse. The chat channel was filled the greatest things of the year thus far, for sure xD
Grats to the players you guys deserve it!
I'll try my best to qualify next week, I was so close!

Bails is a sick player, that being said I was disappointed to see Illusion go down. I feel like he's been kind of quiet in HOTS hoping to see a come back.
