With the the new year just starting off, we’re adding Jo “Patience” Ji Hyun to our roster.
With his run at Dreamhack Winter 2013, he made it from an unknown Korean to a crowd favorite in just one night. He overcame the odds of Polt, sOs, MMA and Innovation and ended the tournament with a third place. With this tournament as an example of what he is capable of, we decided that Patience would be a good addition for our team.
From now on Jo “AiPatience” Ji Hyun will be living in our team house located in Duisburg, Germany. He will live together with AiChubz and also his fellow Korean AiRevenge. We are excited to see how he will perform at his first major tournament:
ASUS ROG Winter 2014!
Please welcome Jo “AiPatience” Ji Hyun as a new member of Alien Invasion!
Statement from the owner of Alien Invasion Heiner “AiTotoro” Knüppel :
At this stage we feel matured enough to take the next step and reach the next level. With new partners and players we will take the challenge of 2014 and show our supporters and fans, what can be achieved with hard work and perserverance.
After the addition of Strelok in early December, we are proud to welcome such an exceptional player.
Best eSports regards Heiner “AiTotoro” Knüppel
Statement from Jo “AiPatience” Ji Hyun :
First of all I want to thank Alien Invasion for their trust in me. I'm full of confidence to reach my personal goals and hopefully the expectation of my new team. I'm looking forward to the new environment and hope I can settle down quickly.
Best Regards Jo “AiPatience” Ji Hyun
P.S. This is only the start of 2014! More to come for Ai!

Congratz Patience!!! but what team will MC join???
Huh. That was unexpected. This guy has jumped around quite a bit, hope he finds a good home in Ai!
GL to Patience and Ai!
this team had a pretty good roster a real long time ago... i liked seeing their players because the Ai tag makes me giggle. love in japanese xD
Good luck to Patience! He has potential to be a really strong player the next year.
I hope AI treats him well!
Hopefully he won't get scammed like HyuN.
Wow! GL to Patience and Ai. This kid has potential. Hopefully he can do well at ASUS like he did at DH Winter
I have never heard of this guy before. But I hope that I will get to know him now he joined AI :D Let's win some sht! Hwaiting
Wut Patience o.o Great pickup for AI! With amazing performances early in the last GSTL season and in that Dreamhack, it's clear Patience will go far!!
Well that cam out of left field. But congrats to Patience hope he does well in WCS Europe this year and succeeds.
Thought it was MC when I saw the picture but Patience is a nice pick up too. He can do a great run during WCS Europe if he plays like he has been during the DreamHack
I think MC will be joining XMG, it would make sense considering how tied he is to Europe.
Man, his run was so sick, congratz, Patience :D
Figured it was just a matter of time before somebody picked this guy up, he looks like he's 15 years old and his run at dreamhack was nuts. protoss maru, anyone?
Oh wow. I have to say that I knew about him before this, but I never followed him or his run through Dreamhack Winter. I didn't get to watch as much of the tournament as I wanted so I only followed Taeja. Congratz to Patience and Alien Invasion.
Patience is a very solid player, best of luck to him and AI!
Glad to see this. Patience is a great story; he was on Prime forever and they just REFUSED to give him a chance. He sat on the bench in GSTL 2013 S1 while Gerrard kept sending out the same MKP/Maru/ByuN/Creator quartet to get owned over and over, awesome to see him get a break.
OK, makes more sense than MC now.

Congrats to AI and Patience

Haven't heard about Ai for awhile (Seiplo too), but this is great to see Patience stepping up!
There are going to be so many more Korean players in WCS EU this year.

As long as they live there that could actually be a good thing. It seems like EU is going to get the better end of the deal than AM. AM is going to have the shit ton of "well Kor-NA lag isn't bad" players, where EU is actually going to have the "I live here and could improve the region as a whole" players.
Interesting.. new recruits for 2014.. hopefully you get some sort of economic return both ways
Well glad to see some good news after all the end-of-the-year drama that's been going on. I hope Patience could make a name for Alien Invasion, as well as for himself.
I guess he will be invading EU on a regular basis now. Gratz!
Sick!! Please please please force that man to stream for me everyday! :3
Wow, wasn't Patience incredibly young? I thought he still went to school or something like that. :o But nice pickup by Ai, glad to see another good player moving to EU.
That's a great pickup by AI, Patience has got a lot of talent! Congratz to both Didn't even know he wasn't on Azubu anymore.

Amazing player, It's difficult to accept any loss for one of my favorites MMA, but the way this little guy did it, it was beautiful and well deserved and all his crusade in Dreamhack Winter! Wish him luck!
Congratz both parties! Patience showed great performance in DH!

While I missed some of his games, I remember being surprised that he beat Innovation and so many other notable players before eventually falling to Jaedong or someone else, can't recall. Either way, if he plays as well as he did, I expect him to keep making splashes in the SCII scene. This sounds like a good pickup to me. Best of luck!
