Damn it they looked much better in Adidas. So did SKT1 tbh but Nike is decent still, this UNDFTD outfit doesn't look very good, I liked their WJ Stars uniform design much better.

Does anyone expect Prime to make it to the playoffs?

Looks like everyone else can field a full team.
If they wanted to do a Bo7, I really doubt they'd change the whole format of their tournament to accommodate a team so bad that they just assume there's no chance of them making the playoffs. Why would they even bother including Prime in the league then? And what would they do if Prime DID make it to the playoffs if you assume Prime is just completely INCAPABLE of putting together a 6-man roster? Force other teams to gift them players?
Seems more likely that the change to Bo5 is just indicative that they don't think there'll be enough interest in this to warrant a longer (Bo7) broadcast except for the playoffs.
Edit: Frankly, I am assuming that Prime will sign at least SOMEONE. Maybe not a big player like KangHo or Dear but at least some competitive-level players. Maybe Revival/aLive and/or Oz? Because frankly, Bo5 or Bo7, I really don't think Creator/ByuN/Annyeong/unknowns are going to be winning many (any?) matches.

The matches will be at the " Nexon Gangnam studio ", so it won't be that little box that the SPOTV matches were in last season.
Also:
12:05 - Broadcasters: SPOTV Games, SPOTV2 will broadcast at the same time. Available in 8.5 million households with IPTV. SK B TV, LG U+, and OllehTV will broadcast (each telecom company's mobile channel). Also on NAver sports, Youtube, and TwitchTV.
Wow so it is on TV and will reach 8.5 million households.
Wow so it has the biggest prize pool in Proleague history.
Wow so it is being played in an E-sports Stadium and not a tiny box.
Wow 95% of this thread is still bitching and moaning about this reveal.
I'm not a huge fan of Proleague or broodwar of the past, so perhaps that's allowing me to look at this data and information and come to rational conclusions here. This should be good news to be most people, yet it seems like the majority of posters here are on the verge of slitting their wrists over this. No idea what's happening. Friday the 13th?
you probably watch Fairy ads in awe. Wow i can wash my house in 2 minutes. Come again when 8.5 millions turn out to be 8k~ish of twitch online and the esport stadium is yet another 20 seats place.
People who want to rage will rage. I just read the information (also known as facts) and repeated it. Information, not conjecture. Excuse me if by stating facts I may have accidentally deflated your rage-boner.
your "facts" are: the name of the place contains Stadium - time to cheer in joy. Basically you've come to say "you are all so negative i'm way cooler than you". I doubt you even know what proleague used to be 3-5 years ago.
Please stop with the "DAE Brood War nostalgia?!?!?!?".
Really glad that Proleague was announced, psyched to watch it and for fantasy Proleague.
Would prefer the sponsor to be a company that isn't already heavily invested in SC2...but ok good to know T1 is rich/committed enough to sponsor SPL multiple times.

am I disallowed to compare Proleague to Proleague? jeez
"ETC: Event matches with eSF teams or foreign teams are being considered." this is probably the best news that they gave us. If foreign teams can play against kespa teams its only gonna give them exposure which is great
Bo5 seems weird but i'm fine with it because i still get proleague !
There some things i didn't get. Is their fewer rounds ? I tought it was more than 4. And playoff is BO7 allkill style.
Seems so long ago that i'm not sure about all the changes. Was the playoff allkill style ? I didn't thought so.
Maybe someone can expose exactly the difference between this year and the other ?
Also... GO PL !
