Gratz soulkey. Sad for Woonjin but just like STX there is little they can do when main sponsor goes down.

SKTs missing Bisu, Best and s2 now some of the people who bossed it in BW but hopefully with Soulkey, Rain, Fantasy and Parting we can be the best again.

Way to turn a phrase - made scanning the thread to this point worthwhile!

How is it that SKT is pouring $$ and KT is just several Code A level koreans with maybe Flash on top (not sure if at this point he is Code A calliber or Code S).

SKT1 Zergs aren't really that bad...
Soo made it deep in SC2 tournaments (and even BW tournaments, placing semi-finals) S2 always did well in BW proleague GoRush won an OSL JulyZerg was a golden mouse winner

Classifying player's ability based on one tournament is silly. Regardless of whether they're Code S/A/B a Flash, Baby, Zest, Stats, CH, Puzzle lineup is still going to be more than competitive with preparation. They came 2nd in the regular season this year, without Baby. Furthermore, KT has always performed way better in team leagues than individual (aside from Flash) and to say they're 'just' code A koreans like there will be a massive gulf between them and Code S regulars makes no sense. With STX and Stars gone KT are either the 2nd or 3rd seed depending on how much you love Jin Air's additions.
Also if you're going to do the caliber thing Flash is clearly S. 3 consecutive Ro16's (Group of Death regular) and the best record in proleague ahead of Innovation/Rain/Soulkey etc. Zest was also 7th overall.

well, with Maru leaving Prime and Soulkey joining SKT, I guess we already know the winner of SPL

Sucks to see a team with such a long history disband. Rip on into the cosmos, Woongjin.

Well as evil as it may sound: I´m happy. Slowly but steady the scene is evolving into sth where only the strongest (will) survive... which is pretty much the best thing you could hope for.
